I turned to my 'ol faithful resource - Yelp - and found Jenny's Wig Shop - which happens to be right around the corner from me. I called and was able to get a same day appointment with Brissa - what a blessing that was! Brissa was very sweet and patient --- and she was very knowledgeable in the different types of wig caps. She took the time to explain each one to me as she knew this was a very different and new experience for me. I tried on several different styles before finding one that was a good fit for my face shape - so I decided to purchase it. Brissa then explained how to care for the wig and went over washing instructions. Fortunately they had for purchase special shampoo and conditioner for wigs - which was much milder than regular shampoo. And she explained to me the best way to dry it. I was also able to purchase a wig stand and a comb. It was a one-stop shopping experience! Brissa, thank you for your kindness and assistance in finding a cute hairstyle for me! OMG from the minute I walked in store I knew I would find the perfect Wig!! Greeted with a smile and acknowledged soon as we stepped inside!!! Very clean and well stocked!!! When I was asked if they could help, told them I was looking for a short pixie style wig, brown in color and I found one in less than five minutes, when I tried on Hubby gave a firm YES, then I was told if I buy one the second is half off and I found Two wonderful wigs, one was $70 and other was $20, she also suggested combs so the wig doesn't move and showed me how to do it!!! They let you try on 3 wigs with a $5 deposit which you get back when done shopping!!! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!!! This will be my go to place for all Beauty supplies!!! Every time that I've visit this store it's nothing but Caucasians and Mexicans selling African-American products that they know nothing about they have no guidance on to consider hair oil, a chemical. Spent almost $100 and couldn't even exchange a four dollar oil will never return to this location.

I bought two wigs from her because she seemed at first nice and claimed she was giving me a discount. But towards the end of my time there, she was racist, and insensitive, and impatient with me because she was fed up with me trying on wigs. It was my second time trying on wigs and the other store I had gone to was so kind and patient and understood my circumstance so I figure other wig stores would do the same. She was frustrated because I took too long trying on wigs and tried too many on according her. She has a seat and that's what the area of the store is for, to try on wigs. She claimed no other stores are allowing people to try on wigs, but that's a lie because I had just gone to another store and had gone to one after, all of which were allowing folks to try on wigs. I came home and one of the wig's net did not even match my skin color. No wonder I got a discount! And when I came back to get another receipt, because I had lost it in the midst of all my stuff and appointments, and needed it for my insurance, she wouldn't print another receipt, couldn't create one and void it, couldn't even create one by hand and sign off on it. When I asked about whether she would be worried about her manager; she said she was the manager which didn't make any sense that she couldn't then even write a receipt out for me. She then brought up the fact that I wrote a bad review for her on Google which all makes sense now. I cried in the store and was so angry, but it didn't matter. I'm NEVER coming back here again. She's absolutely awful and disgrace of a human being.
