The visit to this location was very unexpected since we were out here celebrating my birthday in sin city. Unfortunately our car gave us issues upon arrival which left us looking for a spot that was willing to work on our car which was very difficult to find especially ones that also opened on weekends. I made a call to this spot and was helped by a very kind lady which was more than glad to help us out. We called the tow truck and got it to them only to find out that our fuel pump was done for. They gave us the price and almost gave us a heart attack but they found an easier way to get the job done and cut down the price substantially. If I remember correctly the service writer at the time is married to the mechanic and what an awesome couple both very kind and provide excellent services.we need more mechanic shops like this where you know you're getting helped and not getting robbed . DO NO RECOMMEND. Paul's charge $80 to run a simple computer diagnostic (which is done free at Auto Zone). I did so and Paul's recommended spark plugs ($250) to fix a misfire and very loud noises. My check engine light was unresolved. Coils replaced next($300). The noise on my car and check engine light persisted. I then left my car with Paul's for 3 days. They come back with " blown Head Gasket" and they let me know they will not work on it since it is a hybrid car. I PICKED MY CAR IP IN WORSE CONDITION as smoke is now billowing from the exhaust, check engine light, and loud noise/ shaking progressed. In my opinion, discretion on not being willing to work on hybrid cars would have been nice before I dug $500 out of my pocket on parts and labor (which did not fix any issue at hand). Secondly, i believe if Pauls simply looked with their eyes they could have seen my coolant was extremely low and could have made the head gasket ruling before any pointless/ costly work had been done. Paul himself does not take well constructive criticism on how not to make a customer feel like they've been robbed! I left with a bad taste in my mouth like a CIGARETTE and Paul did not thank me for my service and returned my car in bad nature. 0/10 read more

We live in Seattle and have a student at UNLV. His Jeep lost a heater core so I had to jump into action to help as it was finals week. It was a little more difficult being a thousand miles away. I went to go get my window fixed. Price for the window was 700$. I told them fix it . They couldn't even fix a window. When I got my car back, they had left this in my car if they can't fix a window how can they do any type of engine swap/ valve cover gasket/ oil pan gasket. the same day I got my car back. I don't know how to express my appreciation for the team at Paul's except to say they are MIRACULOUS. My partner had an accident on the freeway while driving thru Las Vegas. We had a hard time getting a tow company to respond. Paul's put us in touch with their partner tow company and they were on site within 15 minutes. We towed the vehicle to Paul's and left it there while the family rented a car and returned home (Phoenix). Michelle and the team at Paul's were incredibly supportive, incredibly patient with us. They let us know that the car needed too much body work for them to be able to work on it and suggested an auto body repair shop. Paul's supported us by working with us and our slow insurance company as we waited for weeks for them to assess the vehicle. The whole time, the vehicle was at Paul's - even though they couldn't work on it, they understood the circumstances (we live out of state) and so didn't charge us or press us about having the vehicle on site. Overall it was a bad situation with family in a car accident out of state, but Michelle and the team at Paul's communicated perfectly, did exactly what they said they'd do, didn't hassle us about our car being on their site for weeks, and supported us through a tough time. Came to Vegas from California for the weekend planning to leave Monday. Sunday my wife's truck brakes started grinding hard. I didn't wanna drive home like this so I checked in Yelp and found Paul's shop . I called at 8 am and spoke to John and told him I needed brakes and maybe rotors and I needed to leave by 11, he said sooner I take it there the more of a possibility that would be . I got there at 8:30 and he had Eric jump on it , Eric got down to business! The Tahoe has new brakes and rotors and I was on my way back to our hotel by 9:45!! It's hard for me to write this review. John has worked on my daughter's car and one of my cars in the past and did excellent work. But I took my car to them in July 2023 for major work. The alternator was covered under my extended warranty but was told the oil seal gasket was bad and needed replaced. That along with changing the spark plugs was $700+ for me. About a month later, my car had NO oil in it and I asked a friend (who is a simple mechanic) how could that be and he said the oil seal gasket is leaking profusely! He wiped the area off with a rag and then started the car and I was amazed to see that much oil leaking. I took my car back to John who swares he changed the gasket and now it's the PVC hose . I left and took my car to the Chevy dealer and they actually changed the gasket kit! So NO it was never changed. I called John and he was upset I didn't bring t be car back AGAIN. Not only all this BS, they left my hood unlatched so when I left there and got on the freeway, my worry was if I could get to the shoulder timely before the hood flew open!! I 100% feel I was taken by them for the $700+ and possibly the alternator. John's solution is bring the car back..... NEVER AGAIN! read more

Was told that they could work on Diesel vehicles by a friend of a friend but ended up not being the case. After being told my ECM was fried, I bought one for $600 bucks. I was told that if I ran it for a few hundred miles it would work better. It didn't, so I Ended up taking it to Super Duty Shop to get a second opinion... the techs there told me I had TWO bad injectors and that my old PCM was completely fine and not burnt. I'm sure Paul's auto shop does well with gas vehicles but if you have a diesel truck/van I'd suggest you take it to a diesel specialist. THIS SHOP IS INCOMPETENT FOR ANY REAL MECHANICAL ISSUES DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU NEED REAL MECHANICAL WORK, THEY ARE ONLY GOOD AT DOING MAINTENANCE JOBS. I Brought my truck in for a lean/idle condition at Paul's auto about a month ago, they spent two weeks trying to diagnose the problem. After I spend 3k on repairs with them my trucks lean/idle issue continued almost immediately I got the truck back. I decided to wait a couple days to make sure the truck actually still had the problem and it still continued with the same issue. After a few days I call John to tell him that my truck is still the same, and that I think he misdiagnosed my truck, and this asshole had the nerve to get sassy with me (save that shit for ur wife n kids). Claiming that he fixed my truck when my fuel levels where still reading double the amount it should be and was still idling the same! I took it to a friend who is a freight mechanic, he hooked his computer up and showed me that the fuel trim numbers where still reading double the amount it normally should, and also diagnosed that my #5 cylinder what misfiring. After 5 minutes of looking around, we found that cylinder #5 ignition coil was bad. I swapped that coil and BOOM PROBLEM GONE. $60 coil pack was all my truck needed to fix the issue I originally came in this shop for. THESE GUYS SWORE THEY TRIED AND CHECKED EVERYTHING. THEY ARE TRASH FOR LITERALLY OVERLOOKING THE FIRST THING THEY SHOULD HAVE CHECKED. If you look at their reviews it's only people coming in that need maintenance done on their vehicles. Anyways THEY FUCKED ME OUT OF A LOT OF MONEY THAT WAS NOT NECESSARY, I WONDER HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE LIKE ME THEY SCREWED OVER. THEY SUCK! read more

Stopped by here on a recommendation from a nearby Auto Zone. While on a road trip our check engine light came on and we needed to get it checked out asap. I pulled up and met John who was most helpful. He stopped what he was doing and helped check out of car on the spot. He was able to help us troubleshoot and was able to get us back on the road really quickly. He even didn't mind letting us get out own parts in order to get us back on the road and thus our trip quicker.
