El Rey taco and Bacon Egg and Cheese taco.
Darian T.

So glad I stumbled upon this place! The bacon, eeg, and cheese taco is amongst the best I've ever had. Quick service and a relaxed atmosphere. The corn tortillas are good.

Have breakfast here once a week on average. Great breakfast tacos and huevos Ala mexicana. This time I tried the tortilla soup! It was filled to the brim with chicken, veggies, tortilla strips and cheese. Hardly any room for the broth. With big slices of avocado on top made it a very hardy meal. Only thing missing are good table chips. The ones they serve, I'm not a fan of. But their hot sauce compliments the meal and is spicy so watch out! Very bare bones restaurant with friendly and fast service.

Half order of bean and cheese nachos

Decent food. Tasted fresh and such. Only gripe was ordered nachos and burrito and neather came with side of sour cream or guacamole. Not even a scoop of it. Server was nice. And also they charge for literally everything. After first chips and salsa they charge $3.50 if you want another. Take out charge of $ 0.25 which is absurd on one part of the menu.

Noah's Plate - 1 sour cream chicken enchilada, 1 beef enchilada with red sauce.

The tortillas are fantastic! They're like eating cake. The green chilli stew is really good. And the menudo is the best we've found

The food is delicious! Generous portions and excellent San Antonio-style recipes. We've been coming to this location for over 10 years.

I can't believe that I've never before visited Mariano's Hacienda Ranch. I've been missing out on some great Tex-Mex! I knew I was going to have a great meal when I got out of the car and smelled the Mesquite smoke from the grill that Mariano's uses. The food was awesome and delicious. My Margarita was tasty, with a very generous pour of Tequila. The two salsas, traditional and warm chipotle, were fresh, with vibrant flavors of tomatoes, chilies, onions, cilantro. The guacamole was the perfect combination of avacado, lime, salt, cilantro, and onion. Our queso came with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and Picadillo ground beef. My lovely Wife had 3 Shrimp en Brochette with a Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada. She was overjoyed with her flavorful Mariano's Hacienda Ranch Tex-Mex dinner! I was so very happy with my delicious Beef Fajitas (they used tender outside skirt steak) with onions and peppers, all grilled over Mesquite coals. The flavors of Mesquite permeated my fajitas with smoky, sweet goodness, while the marinated meat was grilled perfectly over high heat, to yield juicy, seared, melt-in-your-mouth, beef flavor. Service was friendly and professional. Our meal was relatively inexpensive, offering great value for the high quality of the very tasty Tex-Mex cuisine. I have a new favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Arlington/North Texas. I offer my highest recommendation of Mariano's Hacienda Ranch in Arlington, Texas, at Hwy 360 & Majesty Drive. I can't wait to go back (especially for the Mesquite grilled Tex-Mex meals).

Unfortunately, I've visited twice now and the service has been practically nonexistent both times. The hostesses are always very welcoming, but once we get to the table, the experience completely changes. Both times, our servers acted like they would rather be doing anything else and that we were inconveniencing them just by being there. It's disappointing because the food and drinks are good enough to make me want to come back, but the service makes it hard to justify another visit.

Everybody seems to genuinely enjoy working there, which makes such a difference. Our server Kayla was incredibly happy, smiling and welcoming, and offered amazing customer service throughout. The food was great! They have a cook-from-scratch kitchen, which means everything is prepared from scratch. They brought fresh chips and salsa to the table, and kept refilling the bowl with freshly made chips throughout the meal. The salsa was a little spicy for me, but very tasty. I tried the shrimp quesadilla, and oh my God, were they delicious! The shrimp tasted like they had been char-grilled, which I absolutely loved. They were chunky, fresh and full of flavor. We also ordered sangria. Just be careful because the regular glasses are huge! It did come with ice, which I'm not a fan of because sangria is supposed to be cold, but not necessarily iced -- although I guess every country makes sangria the way they think is best for their customers. I'm not gonna lie, there was a little bit of a smell inside when we first walked in. My friend told me it was probably from the tortilla chips and whatever they use to make them -- I'm guessing the corn -- so perhaps that's what it was. Plenty of free parking available since it's in a big shopping center with lots of other stores and restaurants.
