She can tell that I tuck a leg under me while I'm sitting at my desk, or that I sleep with my arms curled up under my chin - just by where all of my knots are. A session is unlike a standard massage. Lindsay works on spots you didn't even know were problematic, until they release and you realize that in fact, you ARE supposed to be able to turn your head from side to side! I always leave a session with Lindsay feeling like a newborn baby, which is absolutely my goal.

Juliana was warm, professional, and attentive, and she made the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxing. She took her time throughout the treatment and made sure I was comfortable while explaining the process. My skin felt incredibly smooth, refreshed, and clean afterward, and I could definitely notice the difference. One thing I didn't realize before the treatment was how beneficial this type of facial could be for the skin underneath and around my beard. Juliana did a great job thoroughly cleansing those areas, and it gave me a new appreciation for incorporating professional skincare into maintaining a clean, healthy beard. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Juliana to anyone looking for a quality facial and professional, attentive service!

I live in Corona and make the drive to Hermosa several times a month because they are just that talented. I had plastic surgery back in November 2025 and searched places after trying a handful of other places (LA, Beverly Hills, Corona, Pacifoc Beach & Studio city places) and none of them were a good match for me. The moment I walked in here I was warmly greeted and showed around the pace and different rooms and their full menu. My first massage was a 90 minute body and facial lymphatic and it was INCREDIBLE. It reset my whole mind and body. I've been going ever since, I just had my second round of plastic surgery 5 days ago and have been twice this week alone. A PT friend of mind recommended I try acupuncture and cupping as I was willing to try anything and everything at this point. With a quick South Bay search, I stumbled upon Kuleana and immediately booked a session. I figured it was a step in the right direction and might relieve (some) of the pain, but never imagined it truly changing the course of my recovery. Amanda was kind, approachable and thoroughly educated me about her process and what I could expect from the session. Not only did I feel instant relief that night/the next day, but the pain never came back... I couldn't believe it! She is incredible and I could not recommend her practice enough to anyone who might need it. I went back for a second session to ensure the pain doesn't return, and I'm feeling better than ever. I am a true believer! Thank you Amanda. xx

Review #840 2025-012…read more I was rear ended in 11/2024 before Thanksgiving & went to P/T when my therapist suggested acupuncture &/or massage therapy to advance my recovery: right shoulder, neck, & back. I tried massage once more than a decade ago, but I have personal space issues besides being very ticklish. I searched awhile trying to find the "right" type of massage therapy, & came upon Gettys Muscle Therapy. I wasn't able speak with Lyssa because she's an independent contractor at Amie House, but she did reply by text with enough info that I felt comfortable to schedule an appointment 1-month out. She's busy either because of her limited schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (M, T, Th), 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (W, F) or she's THAT good. Established in 2010, Lyssa is a board-certified CA massage therapist providing therapy for rehabilitative care (not like the spa-associated massages?) at Amie House, a reimagined holistic center of independent wellness professionals. The 1st appointment is 90-mins.: 30 for pre/post assessment based on your intake/application form + 60 for massage. A detailed intake form ensures a full massage session, other it'll be shorten to clarify your needs/goals; thereafter, sessions are 30, 60, 90 mins. with Pay Later option of 4 installments (not sure if there's surcharges for this payment plan). Lyssa is thorough with asking questions that will assist her in your treatment, & discusses post-treatment observations & changes between appointments to guide her approach for a more impactful session. She's methodical in working on & around the tender areas, stretching & maneuvering for better range/flexibility. Her technique is different from another masseuse who uses more & constant pressure. At Gettys Muscle Therapy, treatment shouldn't be "no pain, no gain" instead it's detailed pressure with some discomfort of a "good sore." Followed by consistent homework on post assessment tips to maintain the progress made. Due to the cold weather, any minute progress made with PT & massage therapy is 1-step forward, 10-steps back; now weather is slightly warmer, & have increased the PT intensity & additional HW (from 1 set daily to 3 sets) & infrequent massage therapy, I've regained a lot of mobility & working on the back & building strength. On my 2nd session, Lyssa suggested I come in earlier to supplement with Dry Float Therapy, aka Zero Gravity Therapy. It's meant to be a relaxing experience that simulates weightlessness without getting wet. It involves lying on a special floatation bed that uses a dry membrane & is designed to minimize outside senses & feelings to help relieve stress & physical pain. However, this wasn't for me... triggering claustrophobia, anxiety, & nausea that remained with me for the whole day into the next day. I was barely in the bed (less than a min.?)... lying flat, which I'm incapable of doing (need to be raised a few degrees upward), & it felt tight like you're in a coffin but more snug. After getting my bearings, my massage wasn't therapeutic with my focus on breathing through the normally tolerable discomfort & trying not to get sick on the bed. This complementary add-on is $35 at a 30% discount for 30-mins. & $80 regular price for 60-mins. I'm not consistent with her post assessment tips (HW), but these complementary massage sessions along with PT has helped in my recovery. If you're looking for clinical massage therapy, look no further than Gettys Muscle Therapy. Keep in mind that it's challenging to secure short-term appointments because she is THAT good.

From the beginning, Ana made me feel completely comfortable. She asked whether I preferred deep, medium, or light pressure and was very attentive about maintaining exactly the pressure I requested. This was a real massage--not simply pulling, stretching, or rubbing. Ana used a wonderful combination of kneading and massage techniques that felt intentional, skilled, and genuinely therapeutic while still being relaxing. Her studio was clean and perfect. She had relaxing music on and the doors closed, so there's hardly any noise coming from outside. I must've fell asleep twice during the entire 90-minute experience. I had initially expressed to her I regularly get monthly Swedish/Thai massages so she did tell me before she started that lymphatic drainage massages were lighter.
