Poor planning and poor management of instructors suggest this place is off the rails. You are better off going elsewhere or just keeping your kids home instead of sending them to this purgatory.

"Dancing is surely the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression. Nothing else can so…read moreeffectively give outward form to an inner experience."-Lyall Watson In the current world climate of growing-up-to-soon, dance offers a safe place to both embrace a child's youthfulness while growing self expression and raising positive values. Through both the art of dance and the lessons throughout dance class, Kathi's has an unequivocal influence on your child's future. The commitment to both dance and academics is not for every child or family, but my daughter is not every child and Kathi's Dance Studio (Morton, PA) is more than a dance school. Kathi and her administration treat their students like family. Years at Kathi's for both my daughters and I have been invaluable. My firstborn went to Kathi's, inspiring my youngest to try. My shy introverted child has become confident and fearless. She has grown socially and emotionally balanced, service-oriented and helpful - a true role model to other students. She applies the techniques learned through both a choreographic and creative process. Growth at Kathi's doesn't have an age limit: parents are encouraged to participate. As a dance mom, I am a witness to the remarkable qualities of Ms. Kathi and her unparalleled commitment to the children at her school and the craft she has loved passionately her whole life. Life requires more than just participation; it requires dedication. As a parent, I want to instill in my children that life is much more than a paycheck on a Friday. Giving the gift of dance, truly teaches the art of vigor. Give your child just that, one pirouette at a time.

Where is female rights here !?Is it acceptable to allow children to be watched while you go to the bathroom when a child feels confident enough to come tell three lifeguards on duty they ignored her and then the mother who is also a board member decided it was appropriate to scream in two nine year olds faces accusing them of lying! A grown woman screaming at children. Would you want your children to go to this pool? Would you want them to be accused of lying when they felt betrayed their privacy betrayed by the Pool that they trusted! no one should be allowed to put their head underneath the stall and invade another person's privacy

The staff show little to no engagement with the kids, they spend most of the day chatting among themselves while the children are left unattended, bored or ignored. Some of the teachers are outright mean and impatient, showing no warmth or care. But thanks to Ms. Tracey, Jamira and Ms. Rebecca. To make matters worse, the new director seems completely overwhelmed and disorganized, offering no leadership or meaningful improvements. Communication is poor and there is absolutely nothing nurturing or professional about the environment anymore. If you value your child's development, safety, or happiness this is not the place.

They use the ProCare app, which makes it easy to pay your bill, get updates, sign forms, and chat with the staff. The director is thoughtful and caring and has made a clear commitment to excellence including going for the next Keystone STARS "star". The teachers are caring, kind, and provide great structure. They move through weekly themes in the classrooms and have art projects, stories, and songs that align with the theme. They play a lot but it's not just free play all day every day. The use age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Our two-year-old can now count to ten in English and Spanish, and her language acquisition has been nonstop. It's clear the classrooms are under control and the kids are well supervised and cared for. As a parent you can just tell if your kid's diaper is being changed often, they're napping well, and they're being cared for. Our daughter loves her teachers and classmates and talks about them all the time. The facility is clean, organized, and secure. They even refresh with holiday decorations and have celebrations for the kids, teachers, and families. They do periodic "Parent Nights" where for way less than a babysitter your child can stay late at the Center. The kids go outside to the fenced-in outdoor play area whenever weather allows and have a glass-enclosed play space when it's too cold or wet out. There's plenty of parking so pickup and drop-off is easy. We have had a great experience and highly recommend ELCA!
