Today I had my annual vehicle inspection performed. I felt like I was shook down. I was told "all was ok with my vehicle"* besides the need to replace the front wipers; otherwise, my vehicle would FAIL inspection due to a TINY oh so small streak on the windshield when the wipers & spray were operated. Absurd is a good word to describe the situation. The wipers were FINE--I'm a freak about having a clean windshield and I do periodically replace the wipers AS NEEDED. Moral of the story: Check your wipers and clean them if necessary before having your vehicle inspected at Comm VW. I travel by Colonial VW in Medford during my commute and I'm thinking they may receive a visit from me for my soon approaching 130K service. (So much for MY loyalty!!). *I was told "all was ok" with my vehicle BEFORE it was driven away to be inspected--WTF? It appears an onsite "replacement parts" inspection was done first and that's when my wipers failed, but why was I told "all was ok" BEFORE my vehicle was inspected? P.S. I arrived at 8:25 A.M. and was told 20 or so minutes. I left around 9:40 A.M.

Instead of apologizing and being professional or even chalking it up to a mistake. The salesman immediately started using words like "we don't play games here sir" I never used the word game or accused them of purposefully doing a bait and switch I just asked for an explanation as to why they priced it one way but coincidentally while we were working on the credit app the price just so happened to jump. That's why it was shady don't shop here If you're looking at a vehicle and think it's a good price better bring a friend to keep their hand on the sticker so they can't do this to you or better yet take a picture.

They said the bracket inside the door was broken and that part was $50 to replace, $20 for garage fee, and $350 for labor. There was no way I was going to pay that! Went home and ripped off my inside door panel, got to the bracket and it was NOT broken! I was able to fix my door handle in a couple of hours, and saved myself $450. The point of this review is DON'T always trust their service!!! Get a second opinion.

We recently brought our mini in as it was doing some sloppy shifting. It was new to us, had 75k…read moremiles, and we wanted to make sure that it wasn't a transmission problem. The guys at European Motorsports were able to look at the vehicle the day after I called. They took their time pinpointing the issue (turned out to be a shift linkage) and even dropped the exhaust system to make sure there wasn't anything else going on. They only charged me for an hour's diagnostic, even though it took 3.5. Tony insisted and showing me the broken part and then showing me what it was supposed to look like. He really wanted me to understand what was wrong with and what was being done to my vehicle. The part that was needed was in the next day, so I had the car back within about 36 hours. Shifts like new. Couldn't be happier. We will definitely be back. As a neat bonus, they have some vintage vehicles, including a Ferrari and Lamborghini in the show room to look at, if that is your thing. Thanks guys! EDIT (05/16/13): Four months later and everything is smooth. Haven't spent another dime on the car outside of oil change maintenance. Happy I got the shift linkage taken care of!
