Dr. Joseph Lee is an ass'ole of a doctor if you have ever met one. He is condescending and callous…read moreand to be honest he should not be allowed to practice especially with younger more sensitive or impressionable patients. He made no effort to listen or help and went on providing examples of extreme cases that had nothing to do with us and even admitted to doing surgeries with no clue about what he was looking for. The only thing I agree with him wholeheartedly about is that he mentioned a couple of times that there are other doctors much smarter than him! I learnt through this experience never to go to any new doctor without chevking their reviews first. His reviews sucI and corroborate with my assessment so I guess we can say he is consistent!

DR JOSEPH LEE is condescending, arrogant, and dismissive. He possibly may be a competent doctor…read morebut his patient care and personality leave much to be desired. I have had good experiences previously with DR VOORMAN. He is a kind, patient, thorough doctor that gives the kind of care that I would hope someone would treat all patients with. However DR JOSEPH LEE talked down to me, snickered when I told him a few thoughts, and seemed generally disinterested in my welfare or questions. Fortunately I can see another ENT, unfortunately I wasted a visit and co-pay with that miserable human being. My advice is to NOT let yourself be treated by ENT DR JOSEPH LEE.

Not long before visiting Dr. Voorman, he had begun taking aspirin, a drug we later saw was listed as ototoxic. Without disclosing the fact of ototoxicity to us, he said to my husband, "A virus ate your auditory nerve." When we relayed Dr. Voorman's 'diagnosis" to our family physician, he said of Dr. Voorman's statement: "I don't think that's funny." And upon Dr. Voorman's flippant, un-lab-corroborated diagnosis, he neither advised to stop the aspirin, nor did he refer to a physician for evaluation of a "virus." However, he did inform us that his office was selling hearing aids. Given that the treatment of my husband differs markedly from the quality of care reported by other patients in reviews---- and given the experience that some doctors bring their bigotry into their practices--- it is reasonable to wonder if Dr. Voorman's treatment of my husband was a manifestation of ingrained religious and/or ethnic prejudice and not simply attributable to an inability to entertain objectivity and scientific method in the treatment of patients.

I am not totally decided on how I feel about this clinic. I was grateful that they were able to get…read moreme into the office within a week but the woman that scheduled the appointment did not tell me I needed to be there 30 min PRIOR to my appointment time. Instead the morning of, I received the text reminder and in that text it was mentioned that I needed to arrive 30 min before my appointment. I feel like they could easily avoid this by sending you the paperwork/questionnaire to be filled out before your appointment date like all of the other healthcare offices I am a patient at do. So I had to take off work for 2 hours in order to make the time of 30 min arrival time. What was most frustrating is the Dr. Geffen entered my exam room 25 min AFTER my appointment time. This is not right. If they expect you to be 30 min early to your appointment, they should have to same courtesy to be on time for your appointment. The Doctor's time is valuable but so is mine. I feel like Dr. Geffen wasn't really listening to me. Sure he looked briefly at my nose and ears and spent all of 5 minutes with me. He just assured me that he didn't see any signs of congestion but if things changed to contact him. The office and exam room was clean. The lobby had several patients chatting with one another. My insurance wasn't overcharged. The office charged my insurance $206 for an examination. If I need services again for congestion or GERD, I would probably give them another chance to see if this was just an off experience. I think I would request to see Dr. Vidya though as he seemed like the office favorite Dr.
