I love bakeries, that ain't no lie. And this little beauty is a highlight of my annual Kustom…read moreNationals Phillip Island trip. Whilst I shouldn't, I try to get a taste of everything on the pastries menu and this is helped by the fact that there are a number of items in the 'party' size range! They can cater for your plain pie cravings but why stick to basics when you can get a pie topped with delicious creamy mashed potato or a "mudda fudda" pie which had so much crammed in it couldhave been classified as a 3 course meal or a mac and cheese pie with a tasty tomato saucy meatball filling (downfall being the mac was a little crunchy for my liking). It's super clean with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The coffee's not bad either and I really enjoy when you get something a little extra that you're not expecting. In this case they give you a sweet little shortbread cookie with your coffee, no matter what size you order and regardless of whether you're eating in or taking away. Small things like that can keep patrons coming back (I'll be back for that meatball filling, though).
