What a great place. Right on Brisbane Bay overlooking the water. You order the food through the app so the food comes out within 10 to 15 minutes of your order. We were on a very tight schedule as we only had one hour to eat and be back on the bus to go to the penguin March. When we wanted to order another round of drinks and told him we couldn't wait 5 to 10 minutes they told us don't worry about it. We'll take a look with the order comes in and prioritize you guys. They got the drinks to us within minutes. I had the fish and chips and it was excellent. Laurie had the Sri Lankan chicken curry and it was phenomenal. Very spicy very perfect. Very good fine. When you are in Cowes, unless you are having your food on the beach, then there are going to be few places that will have a view like Hotel does. This quaint little pub has a great open air feeling and with some fabulous views. This is a sit anywhere type place. We managed to find a seat right at the windows and decided to grab a pizza. Tracking down a server was a bit of a challenge, but instead I just went directly to the bar and ordered, Easy-peasy. The pizza was out shortly and was fresh and hot. Beer was cold, pizza was great and the views were fantastic. Overall, great spot, good food and cold beer. Atmosphere was chill and some good tunes playing. Servers were in a bit of short supply, but when we did get one they were super friendly. Great spot to have a drink and enjoy the views. read more

Decided to go here for a feed pre penguin parade Fish and chips were ok. 3 out 5 Steak severely overpriced at $42. The garlic butter sauce was a frozen blob. Veggies were over cooked and soggy Pizza was so soggy couldn't eat it by hand without everything falling off $162 for 3 average meals and a couple of drinks I would not recommend this to anyone when there are so many other options read more

We were on Phillip Island for the penguin parade and a local friend told us that Hotel Phillip Island is just touristy enough for out of town visitors without being a total tourist trap. It is right on the water, making for a great setting if it is nice enough to sit outside. It has all of your standard pub food and is also well known for its pizza. If you're there on a Thursday, it is Chicken Parmigiana night and man are you in luck. It is a massive piece of breaded chicken over a layer of chips. We also tried the Thai Prawn Salad which was very fresh and filling. read more

This place was pretty amazing. Rather enjoyed my visit here. The layout of this place was great. 4 level pub/club and is the go to place in Phillip Island for party on Saturday night and pub food during the day. We had a parma here and wow it was masssive and sooo delicious. Really enjoyed it, but was impossible to eat it all myself, so I was forced to have half of it take away. But the flavor was great. It was also well priced and beers where decent as well. Id recommend checking this place out when your out in Phillip Island. read more

Yummy food. The lamb burger was to die for. So delicious. Service was amazing. Fast, efficient with a smile. Even when they got the order a bit wrong ( mayo on burger when asked for none) nothing was too much trouble to fix it up. Only negative, no desserts on offer except one choice which is dessert of the day. Nothing for the kids but I did ask if they could have ice cream while we ate lemon meringue pie, which they did. Meringue pie came swimming in passionfruit sauce, which was too rich. Smaller amount would have been better, but tasted yummy. Would be happy to return when I next visit with the family read more

Seriously poor quality. When you're chef can't do a Parma (suspect it was frozen deep fried?) it was tough on the edge and cool on the inside. Won't go back again. read more
