Sure, it was small, and it did have a beer garden out the front, and it certainly does carry an Irish theme, and really, that was pretty much about it. The beer selection was rather limited, and the service, while passable, wasn't particularly great.

The service wasn't all that bad either, and there were some rather comfortable places to sit as well. However, I can't say that it was a favourite. I suspect that this is the main pub in Mornington, or it certainly looks like it was, having one of…read morethose nice 1920's exteriors. In fact, I could see this place as one of the main stops all that time ago. However, this really isn't the case anymore. In fact it is a rather tacky looking pub, though it is rather large as well. I wasn't too thrilled, particularly since it did take quite a while to get served. Yeah, I'll pass on this one in the future.

Pork was fatty and couldn't be cut with the supplied cutlery, too tough, so my wife and I changed meals and I forced the knife through. Vegetables looked as though they'd been thrown on the plate. Very surprising and not at all The Grand standard. There are lots of different options in Mornington now, we probably won't be returning.
