I dined here for my birthday and really enjoyed it. We have been holidaying in Somers forever, so it's nice to discover good food beyond the SGS and Balnarring. I had the salmon with roasted kipflers and a beetroot leafy salad and roasted capsicum sauce, all of which was delicious. My father had the duck flaky wrap with broccolini, which was extremely tasty, while my daughter was very happy with her kids menu steak and chips, although the charring was probably a bit mature for the average child. We drank a Pier 10 Chardonnay which was crisp and excellent, and for dessert we agreed the panacotta with poached pear slices and blackberries (picked off the hedges spotted out back?) was divine and worth travelling for. We finished with an excellent afogato with baileys and vanilla ice cream, and a piccolo macchiato. The service was very professional and we definitely recommend Pier 10 to families wanting a welcoming atmosphere with a bit of sophisticated spoiling for parents who are happy to whip out the credit card. read more
