My Dad battled Alzheimer's for many years. I always took him to get his hair cut, neck and ears shaved and hair washed. It is a school, so yes it took longer, but the love and care they showed my Dad I will be forever grateful... he passed in July so I should have posted this review earlier. He felt like a Million bucks when he would leave, and received so many compliments on his hair cut. Thank you Paul Mitchell!!! read more

*AMAZING SERVICE & PRICE* Terrific level of services received today, here at Paul Mitchell Hair Academy in St. George. My grays are as stubborn as ever- so they require a total of 45 minutes for maximum coverage! A root color generally runs a minimum of $40 at any hair academy. At check-out I was charged $17.50 total, their senior rate. For 2 hours of service. Great service at an unbeatable price! read more

They ask for so much paperwork for your disability to help you but when it comes right down to it they don't give you no help You express to them that you're concerned about passing and they say oh well And I had services done there and one teacher checked her read more

I'm trying to understand where these spoiled brats come from with their reviews. First of all it is a school and these are students. You should understand they are "learning" and everything ain't gonna be perfect. You agree that they will be using you to "practice" and hone their craft. Second, for the whiners complaining about "driving 20 minutes" do not blame others because you did not have the common sense to contact the school before arriving to assess the policies including closing time and the amount of time it takes to perform services. The last hour in schools is usually reserved for clean up and it usually takes a student at least an hour to do a manicure and 1.5 hours to do acrylics. This leaves how much time to do duties? You don't get to trash a school because they could not accommodate you, and just because you drove 20 mins does not give them to obligation to break protocol or stay late. (BTW chatting is ok and necessary) Twenty minutes? Calling a school dog s** is just plain ignorant given the reason. Brats! And lastly, clues should come when you book an appointment at a SCHOOL that there will be input from instructors or senior students, asking for help should not prompt you to down a school because that is exactly what they are there for-learning and you are there supposedly well versed. Walk ins are hard because those scheduling have to take into consideration how long it takes students to do services so as not to interfere with set appointments. You would not want to wait an extra 30 mins because you were waiting on a student to finish a walk in especially if 20 mins is too long. If you want a quick and unassisted cut go to SuperCuts. If you would like to assist students in becoming great go to a school but do not 1 star because you are misinformed or did not have the decency to call ahead. I have been a student and when contemplating this school for further training there were no complaints, prompt responses and very personal policies aimed at making students feel free to learn. read more

Wish I could give it a zero!! My friend and I got off of work at 3:30 and drove 20+ mins to get out there. When we arrived the 3 (yes 3!!) Ladies chatting at the front desk, told us they didn't have time to do our nails because they "close in an hour". One hour?? Really?! They could all sit and chat but they couldnt do our nails? Then we politely told them that we had traveled quite a ways to get there but they didn't care and told us to come back another time. Needless to say I will not be going back there. And I understand that I didn't have an appointment, but seriously there was one lady getting her hair done. And the way they acted like we were a nuisance was very unprofessional. read more

First impression are everything, waited for 5 minutes at the front desk for them to tell me they don't do walk ins. Yesterday when my wife called they said they did on Friday, which was a lie. This places is dog shit!. I drove 20 minutes for a trim and had my time and gas wasted. Not going back or recommending this school to anybody. In my opinion they deserve 0 stars!. read more

My daughter and I love, love, LOVE these nice folks! We found them a little over a year ago, and have been going weekly since for shampoo and styles. The students are all delightful people, and the instructors care for their students like family. Whether you're a student, or a patron, I can't recommend Hairitage Hair Academy highly enough. Truly a hidden gem! read more

I am only giving this place a one star because the young lady who cut my hair was at least pleasant and saw me on time. But terrible, terrible cut. My clue should have been when she went in the back to ask for help. At that point I should have gotten up and left. Three people ended up trying to work on my hair but made it worse. Choppy, uneven and clumps of hair that were obviously shorter than other pieces. I asked three people what they thought and they all said " uneven" one side looks shorter than the other. Thank G-d I have long hair and they didn't take off everything. Went to a hair salon early the next day and had to have it corrected. (Btw, the salon I went to the next day did a beautiful job and corrected everything and not at an unreasonable price). They should never have anyone cut hair who acts like they know what they're doing when they don't. Poor supervision. Not up front and they should not try to convince you the cut is fine when it isn't. That's just a lie. Maybe they can do blowouts or trims or just trim a guys hair. But not going to give them another chance to experiment on my hair. read more
