I was looking to get a new outlet installed in my garage to enable an electric car charger. I didn't mention that when talking with him because I just assumed this would be foreign (I've heard stories of other electricians balking at such a thing). Turns out he just finished installing a charger for a Tesla! When it came time to do the install he actually texted me if he could come several hours earlier (which was welcome on my part). His work was fast and clean and he even installed the charger for me even though I didn't ask him to. Overall I'm extremely happy with his service and will definitely take advantage of it in the future!

We were stumped. First, I called one of the top rated solo electricians here on Yelp, who was hesitant to come to the house... he emailed me a pdf of things to try. I tried them all with no luck. So, I called him back, at which point he said he was booked through the next two months and told me to call "one of the big companies who have lots of employees." Basically, he could tell it was a weird situation and didn't want to deal with it. So I called a bigger company, also top Yelp rated. Boy were they professional! And turns out... very expensive. It's nice that the estimator put little sanitary slippers on his shoes when he walked through my house but when he tried to sell me a "whole house surge protector" for $550 and charge another $440 just to diagnose the problem, I quickly understood how they afforded all those employees. Finally, I called Tony. He was in center city working at Dillworth Plaza doing electrical for the Christmas Village. He came right over to my house after he wrapped there--and immediately went to work trying to diagnose the problem. He then provided a very reasonable estimate to run new lines from the panel in the basement and get my outlets/lights/home back to normal. The job was pretty complex... he and another guy had to cut into a few walls and drywall them back. Along the way Tony kept me posted via text, sent pictures of their progress, and was available via cell phone. I feel lucky to have found Francolini & Sons Electric and would not hesitate to recommend Tony. He's reasonably priced, keeps in touch, and does good work!

He did a full electric rewiring of my home. He removed knob and tube wiring and replaced with all new wiring, upgraded the service panel to 200 amps, and installed many lights, baseboard heaters, bathroom fans, porch lights, etc. Knowledgeable - you spend 10 minutes with him and you realize he knows the ins and outs of all things electric and also generally all things house related. It really gave me confidence in his vision for the final project. Cost - we received several quotes. He was very competitive with his pricing. And when you price in the quality of the work, I think the value is second to none. He was also very upfront and transparent. No hidden charges. He explained why certain items cost what they did. Professionalism - he was punctual for all meetings and phone calls. Prompt with all text replies. Speed - Once the project was underway, they really moved at a fast. My house needed quite a bit of work and they finished in two weeks.
