We renewed our vows after 55 years of marriage in the O'Brien Tower at the Cliffs of Moher on September 15, 2021. Thanks to Kate, it was perfect and very memorable. She helped us with arrangements for everything. First, she recommended the perfect hotel for us, Dromoland Castle Hotel. It was like a fairytale. Next, she recommended a list of possible venues. O'Brien Tower was an ideal choice. Kate made all the arrangements with the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience for its use. The selection of the celebrant, Dara Molloy, Celtic Priest, was Kate's recommendation, and it proved to be impeccable. He conducted a Celtic Ceremony that we will retain in our hearts forever. Kate's selections for the multitude of services we needed were right on the mark and outstanding. They included a hairdresser, makeup artist, florist, harpist, wedding cake baker, photographer, videographer, and chauffeur. Besides being extremely creative and multi-talented, Kate is a beautiful person. She is calm and takes everything in stride. No problem is too complex for her to solve. The…read moresuites are arranged 4 to a building with 2 rooms upstairs featuring a nice deck and 2 on the main level-note you walk upstairs (no elevator) so perhaps stay on first level if stairs are an issue-like if you brought two huge suitcases per person. Our room #18 was very spacious with a good sized bedroom with a king bed, dressing area and living room with a fireplace and a small but functional bathroom with a very nice spacious shower. It seems the suites might be pretty new as we had lots of bedside power ports (USB-C and USB-A) as well as similar setups by the desk area. While I could have used a fluffier pillow, the room was fairly quiet save the nighttime rain on the roof and rambunctious crows in the morning. Parking is right in front of your room door and the room included a nice cooked to order breakfast as well. The property owners also run the nice bakery/cafe, Fitz's pub and an inviting pizza restaurant in the same set of buildings.

The B&B is set on a…read morehill overlooking a quaint village with a single row of brightly colored cottages leading through idyllic fields (there is even a white horse leisurely living in the field below). From the small back deck you can look over this town all the way to the high cliffs that drop into the ocean, creating picturesque views of the orange, red and pink sunset. We arrived to a small sign personally welcoming us. Niall and Darra treated us like family while we stayed at their house and even dined at their table. They were personally acquainted with the entire area and gave us honest recommendations for spending our days there. We were able to see the Cliffs without crowds because of their directions. We then had the perfect dinner of local food at Roadford House where we walked along stonewalls past cows, horses, and sheep to the intimate dining room overlooking pastures. We ended the night by enjoying local music at O'Connor's Pub just a minute walk from the Sea View. We would highly recommend staying at the Sea View for at least a few nights on your trip to Ireland. We even had a view of the ocean from our room, true to name. :) The B&B is located just above the main street of Doolin, very close to Gus O'Connors. The guest lounge had a few books on history of the area. There were a few bottles of wine available for purchase on the honor system, which was a nice touch if you wanted to take it along on an evening stroll along the beach. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with most of the ingredients coming out of the kitchen garden. My hubby even had a choice of duck or chicken eggs from the family's own birds!
