It's kind of funny to say ; you like seeing your Dentist. To me Dr Noland isn't an ordinary Dentist, he's Extraordinary. I've been seeing him since April, his approach is friendly and kind, I feel well taken care of. We sometimes talk about rocks and and natural gemstones, which makes it fun. To me he is a Gem. I saw the reviews and thought I would give this place a shot, even though it was far out of the way from my regular routine. As I checked in, the girl at the desk had me sign some papers, so I sat down and began scribbling down all my information. Before I finished, the office got a phone call, and I hear the receptionist describe what kind of car I'm driving, and the color. I was puzzled. After the phone call she said the person on the other end wanted to make sure I wasn't the one that just cut him off..? It was very unprofessional in my opinion. Other than that, the doctor was nice, and the dental assistance was nice. The price seemed a little high. They didn't make a good enough impression for me to come back. read more

I never write reviews, but my service here was so appalling, I felt I'd be doing any potential patients a huge disservice. My husband and I scheduled new patient appointments recently in this office. We checked in on time. After filling out the required paperwork, we waited another 10-15 minutes (20 minutes past our scheduled appt.) as the man in the front office entered all the info into the computer. The receptionist was very nice. He then took my husband back for X-rays. Turns out, the receptionist is the hygienist as well. Fifteen minutes later, my husband asked when I was going to get started and the receptionist/hygienist stated that I would not be able to start until they were completely done with my husband - an hour and a half later. My husband thought that was odd and mentioned it. The receptionist/hygienist stated they were under staffed due to a wedding and instead we would need to be at the office for 3 hours to get both of our appointments completed. As this discussion was in progress, Dr. Noland came into the room and very rudely stated "you are welcome to leave. Maybe you need to go somewhere that has more staff." I then tried to explain that I when I had scheduled these appointments, I was not notified that we would not be having our teeth cleaned at the same time. The receptionist stated I would need to be there 90min. I was then given only ONE appointment time. I allotted the appropriate amount of time for both of us to be there but had no idea they scheduled us one AFTER the other and would need to be there for THREE hours. Dr. Noland then made another comment about how they are not understaffed and walked away. I told the receptionist/hygienist, that we should go as it seems the dentist did not want to see us. He understood. He even seemed surprised as the behavior of his employer. As we were walking to the lobby, he yelled to his receptionist/hygienist, "weren't they notified of how long they would need to be here?" I, of course answered, "no" and again explained how, if we had known we would need to be there for 3 hours, we may have allowed the appropriate time. We went to the lobby to check out and unbelievably, Dr. Noland came out again. This time, after possibly realizing he had been extremely rude, told us that he can't control his scheduler. Now, after being terribly unprofessional, he was blaming his staff, who, by the way, are the only assets to that office. I felt incredibly embarrassed for the receptionist/hygienist as he was very apologetic and also seemed embarrassed by his employer. I would wholeheartedly, NOT recommend this rude, unprofessional dentist. Not only was his behavior reprehensible, he then threw his staff under the bus. I have NEVER experienced anything like this from any healthcare/dental provider. read more

I came to Dr. Noland several months ago with a dental emergency, in enough pain that I was ready to tear my face off. He and his staff took the time to work with me and my insurance to figure out the best treatment plan. Now, the pain is gone, and I'm on the track back to dental health. What can I say...My goodness I have a fear of dental work. I think anyone who had an old dentist has a story. Dr Noland is a young guy. He is gentle and he listens to all my concerns. He took it slow and talked me through it. I liked the upfront office. They do not skirt around the other major issue with denistry. They just shoot from the hip and tell you like it is. If there is a fee, they get it right up front. They did have to estimate what that was because my insurance comes through later. They were pretty darn close. I know that some people just avoid the dentist because of horror stories. Don't ! Go to Dr. Noland. read more

It took me 45 years, but I finally found my Dentist! I am a self admitted wimp when it comes to going to the Dentist. Dr. Noland and his staff (especially Manny) made me feel completely comfortable. I had a root canal a couple of weeks ago and today I had my tooth prepped for a crown-two very unpleasant procedures that scared me to death. I don't know what I was worried about. Obviously Dr. Noland is highly skilled because I have had ZERO pain. Let me repeat- ZERO PAIN. I have never written a review before, but I feel like I need to spread the word. This Dentist is Awesome! He is professional and yet extremely down to earth and you can tell that he truly takes pride in his work. Please note that his one negative review on here has to do with SCHEDULING not with his skill level. Anyone that runs a business knows that sometimes mistakes can happen. We are all human. Yes, he has a small staff, but that makes it feel more "home-like" (If you can call a dentists office that) lol! Might I also add that I have NEVER been made to wait a long period of time for an appointment. I was always seen right away. Dr. Noland is very nice and very knowledgable. He is the first dentist I have had who actually asked if I was in pain when he was cleaning my teeth. He also worked with me on a treatment plan that fit my schedule, needs and insurance. His assistant Manny was very personable and very attentive, he made sure I wasn't hurting during the x-Rays. I have had some bad experiences with extractions in the past, I used to go to advantage dental in Medford and the dentist did an extraction that probably should have been done by an oral surgeon. Dr. Noland was very real with me and explained that my wisdom teeth have grown in near a nerve and he would feel better about me going to an oral surgeon for the extractions. I like that he was forward with me instead of telling me he can do something he actually can't. I would recommend him to anyone. :) read more

Got a recommendation from a friend because we were looking for a new dentist (old one didn't take our new insurance). Dr Noland and his staff are fabulous. Not only do they work with your insurance to get you the best prices possible, but they'll try multiple methods to work around YOUR needs and limitations. Never have I had a dental office do this for me. We're taking 3 kids and 3 adults to get quite a bit of work done and I am honestly flabbergasted at how little I have to pay out-of-pocket. when i phoned for an appt. with this (new to me) dentist, i was given a phone estimate for an exam and cleaning. i arrived early knowing i would need to fill out forms. in the forms i found mention of a discount. when i asked the receptionist if the discount applied to me, she was uncertain and left toward the back of the office. she comes back, not responding to my question, but refers me to their website. useless, as i don't carry around a computer and don't own a smart phone. i ask again, and again she leaves for the back of the office. minutes pass. a young man dressed in scrub clothing appears. finally the dentist comes out. does not introduce himself. says that too much time has passed and there is not enough time on his schedule for me. then in a brusque off putting way, tells me to go elsewhere. read more
