I have been going to Paul Blake's Sales for the past twenty years or so. We have always found them to be friendly and answer all of our questions. The products that they sell are of higher quality and the pricing is resonably priced. The first day everything is full price and the next day things are marked down. Unfortuately Paul passed earlier this year but his partner Chuck is still there to assist in anyway he can as he always has in the past. We have complete faith in Paul Blake and Assoc. We have purchased at least four cars from them which are still some of our best purchases including a conversion handicap van for our daughters wheel chair. I wish we had known about them prior to purchasing furniture to fill our home prior to moving here no sales pressure. Our whole house is as well said from a Paul Blake Sale! I highly recommend Paul Blake and Assoc for an estate sale if you are looking to empty out your home. I was moving abroad and needed an entire household sold. Their team was extremely professional and set up my things in an attractive, retail-style manner. They received top dollar for some of my fine furniture, and they sold art work I thought could not be sold. I also valued their ability to get a thrift company to come in right away and remove the items that did not sell (there wasn't much.). I received more than I expected from the sale, and by Saturday at 5 PM my home was empty, which is what I wanted. Paul Blake and Assoc. were worth every penny of their fee. read more

I do not recommend dealing with this company. They are doing an estate sale in Southern Pines this week. I live about an hour away and I wanted to call to get a price on an item and see if it was still there. If it was within my price range, I would drive there to try to get it. I did not want to waste gas and time if I thought it was priced too high. Their info for this sale on Estate Sales.net stated that they will not answer calls or texts until the sale started at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. I waited an hour or two after the sale started on Thursday and then I called. The cell phone went straight to voicemail, so it was either turned off or on do not disturb. I left a message. No one called me back. I tried texting a bit later. I never got a reply. Today is day two of the sale. I tried calling again. This time it rang several times so the phone was not off, but no one answered. I left another message and no one called me back. This is really poor customer service. I can really see why this company has such poor reviews. I also wanted to note that I have called several estate sales in the past to inquire about something and they have always answered or called me back if they were too busy to answer. This is the only estate sale company that has completely ignored a potential customer. read more

I second the damage hidden issue. Went to look at some wooden bird decoys at a local estate sale. The front look fine in the photos when I got there they were all chewed up by a dog at the rear. Total shysters. read more

Went to "estate sale" run by this company. Prices were VERY high for what was offered. Not a company I would go to again.
