Then when you walk in, the large space, devoid of full walls, separated into small areas by the items themselves, gives it an unusual feel. I almost felt as though I were in a barn for an auction. Each section of the store has items representing the different local vendors. One area may be pictures, frames, lamps, another will be kitchen items, and yet another, hand-worked comforters, doilies, or blankets. Although I've only been to the Livery a couple of times, the displays were slightly different each time so the Livery was worth a second and third look. Although the stock is the same as many other antique stores, the atmosphere of the Livery makes it a different antiquing experience.

For years after, I neglected checking out the antique store here now. This one is expansive and observes the vendor booth set-up so common for antique stores these days. The selection is mostly what I'll call "home goods". Furniture, kitchen items, decor, lots of framed paintings and pictures, dishes, displays, wall hangings. Of course there's a large assortment checking almost every box, but the above are the ones that stood out most to me. I wasn't blown away by the quality of most items in here nor the selection. The layout is booth style with an assortment of different vendors. The selection varies greatly, and not all items are strictly antiques. Some things I remember seeing are furniture, tools, dishes and silverware, interior decor, books, cloth and fabric items, dolls, and more. New items include knitted and crocheted items, candles, and crafts, among others. The place is quite big too. Price is vary, as is typical of vendor booth setups. Some booths occasionally run sales on their items. I've seen both exorbitant prices and reasonable ones, though not usually from the same vendor. Some items are not in full working order, which is typical with antiques, so it's good to look closely and be sure prices are appropriate. A final note, the one staff member I interacted with during my time in the store seemed put off at having to let me into a locked case and at even having me in the store at all. Could have been an off day, but it did season my experience. I'll still stop by again sometime.

I could spend hours at this business just walking around looking at all the beautiful and valuable collectibles they have for sale at a very reasonable price. I really hate to give them such a good rating because I do not want this place to start getting overcrowded with Looky Loos. I wish I could keep it a secret all to myself but these people are so wonderful and deserve for their business to thrive that I have to be honest and give them what they deserve and that is 5+ stars. OMG at the selection! I am A VINTAGE ADDICT BECAUSE OF DIXIE!! In addition to much LOWER FURNITURE prices then the Thrift Store close by, the FURNITURE is Vintage, & so gorgeous! Real wooden furniture is available & on a few occassions I have found vendors in there that actually custom chalk paint furniture with beautiful DESIGNS that CANNOT BE FOUND ANYWHERE IN FAYETTEVILLE!
