What a great experience! Everything from the first call with Anna to the consultation with Dr. Lippi. Everyone in the office is friendly and warm, turning what is sometimes a hard experience into something less intimidating. I went to see Dr. Lippi for TMJ pain I was having. After looking at the information I provided and examining my jaw, he said I had a very complex case and was referring me to someone who could help. I was in the search of a new dentist after my dentist of 32 years retired. I am so thankful to have found the best dentist in the Bay Area on the first try! I called to make an appt for a teeth cleaning and Dr. Lippi's staff was so accommodating, that they actually were able to get me in the next morning. I arrived to their office a few minutes before my appt to fill out the new patient forms. Their office is beautiful, clean and up to date with all the latest technology. Debbie performed my teeth cleaning and she was wonderful! Very gentle, checked in with me during the process to make sure I was doing okay and took her time to be thorough. She also has a great personality and wonderful sense of humor :) Dr. Lippi then came in for the exam and was able to pin point all the issues that have been a concern of mine. He's able to take pictures of each tooth and put it up on the tv screen so he can go over with you exactly what he is seeing in real time. Very cool experience and super helpful to actually be able to see what is going on! After the exam, we came up with a game plan for moving forward with my concerns, in which I am very happy with! Since 2000, Dr. Lippi has taken care of my teeth with expertise, efficiency and humor! He replaced my old amalgam fillings with ceramic and improved the look of my teeth a thousand fold. Once, I called him over the weekend and complained of pain. He met me at the office within the hour. It was an abscess and he found me someone who could treat it, right away. THE WHOLE STAFF is professional, kind, considerate and do things the right way. The service is exceptional and everything is done by the book and done right. I have been seeing Dr. Lippi and his team for about 13 years now. When i started, I had horrible fillings that had been done at a cheap dentist due to lack of funds when I was younger. Once I got dental insurance, I moved to Dr. Lippi and he removed the horrible fillings and replaced them all. But, not only does Dr. Lippi make your teeth look fantastic, his team is awesome. They ask about my daughter and husband every time I go in, they ask about what vacations I'm going on, and how work is going - and they genuinely remember details about their customers. I have been a patient of Dr. Lippi's for many years. And I must say, 3 things stand out about this practice. He has fabulous hygienists and assistants. He, himself, has wonderfully gentle hands - really important to me. And he and his whole staff stay very current on new techniques and dental improvements. In December of 2010, on their very strong recommendation, I started with an Invisilign program to straighten and re-align my teeth and bite. I will admit that they had to talk me into this over a couple years. The results have been genuinely astounding - both in the movement and my overall oral health. And I am still in the early phases. Vicki and the rest of the team take their time and treat you like an actual person. Dr. Lippi is amazing. I have been going to Dr. Lippi since I was a child; he has been my only dentist for 24 years! My entire extended family goes here as well, and none of us has ever experienced the "horror stories" that I often hear related to dentists. Dr. Lippi spends time getting to know his clients, offers many accommodations to make you feel comfortable (like beverages, satellite radio ear phones), and is always careful and gentle with your teeth and gums. His billing staff carefully works with insurance companies to make sure you are getting the best and most accurate price for their services, and are really cheerful and easy to work with whenever you need to reschedule or cancel and appointment. The hygienists are also very friendly, and are very careful with your teeth and gums as well! Though a bit pricey, I would never trade my faith in his services for a cheaper price! I have been seeing Dr lippi for several years. He has always been very mild mannered and caring. About a year and a half ago he told me I would need a crown and a filling replaced as there was decay on those teeth. I have always been very afraid of having treatment done- so I delayed as much as possible. Needless to say, a year and a half later, I was in his chair. Both him and his assistant Vicki were amazing. I did have nitrous gas to relax my nerevs and not only did I not feel the injection, I didn't feel any pain. My appointment was an hour of laying comfortably and I even fell asleep during the temp making process. I HIGHLY recommend Dr Lippi and his team to anyone that is fearful or reluctant, they made a believer out of me. read more

A number of years ago a friend recommended Dr. Lippi to us, and we both agree it was the best recommendation we ever received for anything. Dr. Lippi is one of a kind, always interested in his patient's health, and wellbeing. Asks the right questions, provides simple explanations to situations, and does not stop until the patient is assured and confident about the specific procedure. He continues to improve his practice by attending numerous seminars dealing with advances in dentistry and learning new techniques to improve the patient's dental health. We have had a number of bad experiences with other dentist that make a point of using all the dental insurance benefits allotted their annual programs. Not Dr. Lippi, he sticks strictly to the issue of an individual's needs to improve and/or maintain a high degree of dental health. 5 stars are not enough. read more

It's been a long time since I've been to a dentist and I just started to see Dr. Lippi. I was pleasantly surprised after I met him. He appears to be very warm and genuine, a far cry from my last dentist. I thought my experience there was exceptional. Ali provided me with a very much needed teeth cleaning. The office is nice and new but unorganized. It was my first visit and I got the usual you need to floss more. The dentist looked at my x-rays and no cavities. He used a laser that identifies bone density and mentioned he thought I had a cavity from the rating I got in the bone density test yet my x-rays were cavity free. I told him I would get a second opinion and he said another dentist will not find a cavity if they do not have that particular laser. So basically you think I have a cavity but cannot see it and don't know where it is in my tooth but want to drill in my tooth anyway! #moneymaker It's actually very sad that people everyday believe this crap! PLEASE be cautious before letting anyone drill into your teeth and get a second opinion first!! read more

My son needed some restorative work done which I had been putting off for some time, I wanted to find a dentist I could trust to do the work without making it a traumatizing experience. This was really important to me, since I wanted the dentist to be a healthy visit instead of something my son would grow to dread! Dr. Lippi is a calm, and friendly doctor, taking care to explain everything to us and to my son, and taking his time to give us a thorough visit. I had had many unhappy and often painful experiences with dentists for many years as a child and as an adult until Dr. Lippe was recommended to me by a fellow teacher. I had a mouthful of work which needed to be redone and restored to health. I have referred friends to Dr. Lippe who have had the same positive reactions I experienced. Dr. Lippe is a warm and caring individual and an outstanding professional whose work is of the highest quality. His staff reflects those same attributes. He is also very diligent about keeping an eye on my dental health and has often been able to treat or head off trouble before it became too serious or caused the loss of a tooth. It is very reassuring to know that he is looking out for for me and that I am getting good care. He is very diligent when working on you and you always know that you have his full attention.
