Since moving to Los Gatos, I've had some HORRENDOUS experiences with some area dentists. I decided to do a little research this time around, and discovered Dr. G. Reading up on his website and some of the reviews I've seen around here painted a picture of someone I wouldn't mind poking around my mouth. And trust me, I'm real careful about the things I let into my mouth! Dr. G is the picture of professionalism, and at the same time is personable and cordial. He was, and is, very accomodating to my concerns, and is real forthright with advice and observations. Very efficient, but also super friendly. I went in an exam, x-ray and cleaning and it went really well! I usually hate going to the dentist but Dr. G's office was actually a pleasant experience! I was comfortable (as much as a person could be with someone else moving around in your mouth). He was super thorough and realized I needed to redo one of my old fillings from another dentist. So far this is probably the best ever dentist I have attended! They explain every step and what they are going to do... That's their style! No rush, before starting the work, Doctor G will always once again make sure both he and the patient understand what is the current step and what is to be done right now, even though there is a discussed and agreed plan of treatment! Feel free to ask questions related to financial part, like who pays for what, out of pocket, insurance share, etc...I really haven't seen such work before! I've been seeing Dr. Guekguezian for about two years now and I'm very happy that I got to be his patient. On our first visit in 2018, I had a lot of dental work to take care of and I was very nervous at the moment. With his great knowledge and amazing work, I got to save four of my teeth that I was about to lose. Recently I got new crowns on my front teeth and finally became confident with my smile. My husband and I are both happy clients of Dr. G's and alway enjoy our visits. Not only are the cleanings great, but he really takes the time to get to know your issues and accommodate your concerns. I am currently considered immunocompromised as I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and so I have been incredibly careful about my interactions with others (and have been regularly tested for COVID with negative results).
