In a world where honest people are becoming rarer to find, Dr. G is one of those wonderful professionals who enjoys what he does and is very professional with their customers. Since moving to Los Gatos, I've had some HORRENDOUS experiences with some area dentists. I decided to do a little research this time around, and discovered Dr. G. Reading up on his website and some of the reviews I've seen around here painted a picture of someone I wouldn't mind poking around my mouth. And trust me, I'm real careful about the things I let into my mouth! Dr. G is the picture of professionalism, and at the same time is personable and cordial. He was, and is, very accomodating to my concerns, and is real forthright with advice and observations. Very efficient, but also super friendly. It's a bonus we're both 80's kids, so I get to complain about being an old grumpy guy with him. I've gone to him twice so far over this past calendar year, and am pretty confident I've found my new long-term dentist. His office is in a great location between Campbell and Los Gatos, and is very homey and nicely equipped. I went in an exam, x-ray and cleaning and it went really well! I usually hate going to the dentist but Dr. G's office was actually a pleasant experience! I was comfortable (as much as a person could be with someone else moving around in your mouth). He was super thorough and realized I needed to redo one of my old fillings from another dentist. Dr G has been the best dentist I have ever have. I had went to a dentist to get my root canal done and ended up hurting for a week with bruises on my cheek. So far this is probably the best ever dentist I have attended! They explain every step and what they are going to do... That's their style! No rush, before starting the work, Doctor G will always once again make sure both he and the patient understand what is the current step and what is to be done right now, even though there is a discussed and agreed plan of treatment! Feel free to ask questions related to financial part, like who pays for what, out of pocket, insurance share, etc...I really haven't seen such work before! I've been seeing Dr. Guekguezian for about two years now and I'm very happy that I got to be his patient. On our first visit in 2018, I had a lot of dental work to take care of and I was very nervous at the moment. With his great knowledge and amazing work, I got to save four of my teeth that I was about to lose. Recently I got new crowns on my front teeth and finally became confident with my smile. My husband and I are both happy clients of Dr. G's and alway enjoy our visits. Not only are the cleanings great, but he really takes the time to get to know your issues and accommodate your concerns. I am currently considered immunocompromised as I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and so I have been incredibly careful about my interactions with others (and have been regularly tested for COVID with negative results). However, I recently developed a slight tooth ache (likely a crown needs to be replaced). My family and I have always had dental work done by my dad, but when we moved to California, a 3,000 mile trip for a cleaning didn't seem too practical. When I met Dr. G, I sent my husband and kid to him first... yeah, yeah, I used my kid as the litmus test, judge me later, but it was great to see how Dr. G went from talking to an adult about oral hygiene to educating my 5-year-old on sugar bugs. Literally! Dr G is the BEST! I had to get a cavity filled, and I was in and out - with anesthesia and all 15 min from chair to end of appointment. I have been going to Dr. G for over a year now and it has been a very positive experience overall. Dr. G provides a level of service that you longer see in this day and age. He actually communicates with his clients not just in the office, but via text and email, which is a bit plus as you don't feel like you are just Patient #3001.
