I finally returned after reading more recent reviews that were positive…read more Now the restaurant operates in a food truck in the parking lot. The service I received here was 1000x better than my first experience! I ordered the #1 Rib dish with collard greens, cabbage and curry chickpeas. I thought the rib bone was sugar cane, but it's not. I'm actually not sure what it is but assume it's casava/yucca. What a nice treat to add more food to the plate. The ribs were delicious, curry chickpeas outstanding, cabbage really good but wasn't expecting them to be fried and collards were good. The toast was toast. Overall, I give my meal an A+. I was unable to eat it all in one sitting, nice bonus in today's environment. Now that they have a dedicated space for the vegan food and service was great there, I would return. Thank you for turning things around. There are so few options for vegan food in McDonough.

So I've been stalking this place for the last few days while being down this way. Granted it was a…read more20 minute drive for me so still not really in the area. But I'm always up to driving a little bit for some great vegan food. Definitely missed the driveway, regardless of the reviews I read! Nothing a quick turn around couldn't fix. Came on a Tuesday around 1:15. One person ahead of me and it took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. So I sat at the table and enjoyed the music from next door! Even with my stalking, it still took me a minute to figure out what to order. The Moxtails are what drew me in. Also knew I wanted to please my inner fat girl and order two plates! LOL Rib Trash Plate - 3 sides that are included. Ribs - liked the texture and flavor. You're mostly tasting the BBQ sauce, a little flavor from their choice of protein but I appreciated the texture. Collard greens - Love that they don't taste like the greens I make. They have mushrooms in them. Also have this sweet and savory taste to them. Not traditionally flavored but delicious! Mac and cheese - made with nuts as posted, I'm assuming cashews but didn't confirm. Pretty good flavor, I don't mind it at all! Quinoa and chickpeas - multicolored quinoa, good flavors. I'd order it again. Not a bunch of flavor but expected that. Type of side that I get for the healthy factor vs the flavor. Moxtails - 2 sides included. Let me first say that the flavor of the Moxtails was very good. I was expecting there to be something in it that resembled oxtails' texture, so it was lacking in that area. The dish has chick peas, potatoes, carrots, celery, peppers, and onions. With the amount of gravy, I would have expected more rice but it was like a small spoonful. Guessing the peas and corn were included in the rice but not for sure. Cabbage - I'm a fan. Gives me this stir fry vibe with an almost smoke/char flavor. I will say that it was pretty greasy after take a few bites. I looked underneath the cabbage and sure enough there was a good bit of grease. Okra was good as well. Nothing special that makes it stand out, but good flavor nonetheless. I would order it again. Overall, I like this place and would definitely come again if I was in the area.

I have absolutely no complaints. The serving size was large, the price was adequate, wait time was acceptable and the food was delicious. The burrito was stuffed full of seasoned veggies. The rice and beans were also seasoned well and I cleaned my plate. - A I recommend and would definitely return.

I then realized I had also been charged for the same beer. When I brought up the duplicate charge, I was told it couldn't be corrected. The manager said he would "give it back to the guy next time he sees him," which makes no sense -- you either credit the card or remove it from my bill. Two people should not pay for one beer. Instead of resolving it, the manager accused me of being someone who had complained months ago (I haven't been there in three years), threw a $10 bill at me, and told me not to come back. I was calm and simply asking for a billing error to be fixed. The handling of this was unprofessional and humiliating.

Downtown Griffin have limited dining options so me and a friend stopped into Bank Street cafe…read more Service was pretty good. Menu selection a decent variety. They served a glass of Chardonnay in a champagne flute that was odd. Salad seemed to just be mixed lettuce out of a bag. The bacon blue burger was very good along with a large portion of Brussels sprouts. My friend had steak bruschetta. Live music was a nice touch and you can sit at tables on the sidewalk.

I was so impressed walking inside and seeing the murals and artwork. The colors were so vibrant that the murals looked like they were coming to life. I asked the hostess if I could go upstairs to look around, and she said, "Of course." She also told me they have live music nights on the second floor, too. I finally came back down and ordered the Black and Blue Burger, which has the best crumbled blue cheese on top as well as onion rings on top with a side of Brussels sprouts. We also ordered the Turkey Wrap, which was a spinach wrap filled with oven-roasted turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and Cajun aioli. Now who thought of that! It was so good, as was my juicy burger and Brussels sprouts. So, we decided to split our lunch in half, sharing half with each other. Plus, the portions are so huge that it's easy to share. We took our time eating because each bite had so much flavor. I must say that this place is truly one of a kind, offering the best food, service, and atmosphere.
