The lady asked if I wanted the same as last time I said yes and just reminded them of the fix that they did last time. When we picked her up she was butchered!!! I asked how they could not know this as they pulled up her record and confirmed who she was when I made the appointment. I have been there multiple times with the last time being in February. He then told me that my dog should be groomed every 6-8 weeks and her hair was too long and mangled for them to groom her and I would have to take her to a veterinarian. Seriously? Who takes their dog to a veterinarian for grooming? I told him that this had not been a problem in the past and that it had been just 2 months (8 weeks) since I had her in with 2 weeks being their fault because they were short staffed. I am 71 years old, live across town, am on oxygen and have multiple health problems. He watched me struggle bringing her in. I asked if he could at least give her a bath and trim around her face and feet. He said that would just mangle her hair more. I guess they don't have products like hair conditioner or detangler spray for dogs at Petco that he could have utilized (buzzz -actually I confirmed that they do). I was so upset that when I got into my car I could not catch my breath. They are the ones that messed up the appointment, not me. They were the ones refusing service to a dog who had been there previously with hair longer than it is now. How does this guy even qualify as a groomer? He definitely knows nothing about customer service. He actually hollered have a nice day when I left. What an arrogant ass, Fire him before you lose more customers.
