He suggested doing an engagement shoot since it would "prepare" us for getting directed on our wedding day. Even though we went through various venues that ended up canceling on short notice, John was very flexible and accommodating. At the end, he suggested doing a outdoor night shoot in downtown Los Angeles. Since we wanted a tango dance-themed shoot, we came prepared with some poses; however, John was certainly prepared with his own dance poses that he researched on his own.
