Christina quickly presented a detail outline of our budget and put together a board of Allie's thoughts - dress ideas, colors and flowers - a highlight of her dream. It was spot on! Allie's text to Christina was "So excited! You're doing amazing pinpointing my vague idea!"  We were realizing the fortune of finding Christina, who was professional, dedicated, giving attention to detail that was beyond our comprehension. Before long, a delightful sense of humor emerged from Christina, making the entire planning process enjoyable and stress-free.   Christina worked effortlessly through every phase, no matter how big or small, ensuring everything was executed flawlessly. She respectfully listened to Allie's ideas, saw her vision, and worked tirelessly to bring it beautifully to life. (And thank God for that sense of humor which was fully appreciated when attention to numbers attending and table assignments were required). With everything perfectly in place prior to the wedding, on ceremony day, Christina was a stealth spirit of perfection. She set finial touches on tables, perfected the bridal cake, straightened the groomsmen, pinned my dress lining, oversaw food service and the entertainment, orchestrated the wedding party, ensured all facilities were well-maintained, and more. The evening flowed flawlessly as she guided Allie and Alex with calming ease and complete support .... Always with her lovely smile. At night's end, not missing a step, she had the getaway car packed and awaiting the new Mr. & Mrs., sparklers passed out, arms open sending Allie and Alex off with hugs. It was beautifully moving for me, Mother of the Bride. Christina was a highly treasured part of Allie's wedding journey. She also became a cherished friend, whom I miss speaking with weekly. The vendor lists are short, only a few for each category so you don't get confused, but you also may not find the right one that fit your needs, so don't expect to get everything done here. The bride mixer i went to was awesome, we got to meet some great vendors. It's also a free event. I had a great time, and meet some vendors that I didn't even think of looking for. This place is great if you are just starting out your planning process. Plus the space is so cute!

How do you buy a $4300 wedding dress and end up spending another $3650 so she can wear it on her…read morewedding day? This is how. Beware!! The shop owner is a great sales person but then..... We purchased my daughter's wedding dress in February for a June 8 wedding. Because of out tight time line we had difficulty finding a dress that could be made and here in time for fittings ( or so we were told ) We selected a sample that was in the store from Lela Rose with full assurance that the alterations that would need to be made in order for the dress to fit properly and provide the coverage the bride wanted could be achieved. We endured 4 fittings, all resulting in failed attempts to do what had been promised could be achieved by Karen, the owner of the shop. The attempts to create modesty were simply to make the front of the dress tighter and tighter, which because of the design created enormous pressure on the vetebrae at the top of her neck. There was now way she could wear this dress for an entire day. The dress was now filthy from being handled so much and A WEEK BEFORE her wedding we had not resolved the issue. The seamstress sent a text during that week, which we accidentally received, saying she was f*#$@ing sick of working on the dress. What ???? This is a woman's wedding gown, selected for one of the most memorable days of her life. The owners response was that was between us and her. She was a subcontractor from her shop, so I believe that says it all about customer service. At this point we are frantic. I ended up having to fly my daughter to her destination ( our home town on the Florida coast ) with her dress 8 days before her wedding to have someone here, who had the ability, completely remake the top of the dress. The shop did not pay for additional fabric which I found shocking seeing that all this fell on them. Nor did they refund any of the botched alterations fees. So, how do you spend $3650 to have a dress suitable to wear? Failed alterations at the bridal shop. $975, Plane ticket to have dress fixed $800, Additional fabric $575, remake top of dress $1300. My advice. Go somewhere else, go anywhere else, avoid this shop!!!!! Any business will always be welcoming and treat you like they value you as long as they are on the receiving end. A GOOD business is one that will solve the problems that arise when there are problems.

Learning about the Harding family and how they became the nations leading horse thoroughbred farm for more than 200 years. To even imagine the lives of those people there from the owners to the slaves that worked on that plantation. Sad to hear, but it was a part of our history.
