The best part was that since I'm picky, know what I want and want to save money on the best jewelry the owner told me that he could design the ring. THE best jeweler!…read more This store is located in the heart of Laguna Beach across the street from the playground and volleyball courts. It's a small store, but the jewelry possibilities are endless! My husband got me engagement ring here custom made by them. He showed the owner the picture of what I wanted, made a few suggestion and I got exactly what I had dreamed of. The owner went to LA and watched them hand make my band to make sure everything was perfect. That's great service. When you walk into the store, you'll see a lot of decorative jewelry. There isn't much of a selection to choose from in terms of bridal jewelry. But I feel the strength of this store is the ability to make virtually anything you want. Like mine, you show them the picture and they can make it. They give you the most for your money and is probably the most honest jeweler out there. They can make bands out of gold, rose gold (which I think is BEAUTIFUL), and platinum. I also had my engagement band custom made to match my engagement ring. It took just two weeks for it to be made. They do, however, have a great selection for wedding bands for guys. They have all sorts of styles. You can also alter the style to fit your taste. We ended up with a platinum band made in Japan with a fine 18k gold line on the edge of the band. It was originally all shiny, but we had her put a luster on the metal so it's a lot more muted and more subtle, yet still beautiful. I LOVE my husbands wedding band. They also have funky types of casual jewelry at the store you can purchase on the spot. Parking kind of sucks. There's a parking lot a block away, but you have to pay for that. If you're lucky, you can find street parking. It's kind of close to the White House. If someone is looking to have a ring custom made, I would suggest going to Monamie because of their honesty. That's rare for a jeweler.

I can't understand how I had waist length hair when I was in college but now I can't stand a little over my neck. We always talked about wanting to get one of her pieces. While browser an art gallery in Laguna, we again were admiring Carolyn's work. The owner told us she lived not far from the shop and called her to see if we could come by. We jumped at the chance to meet Carolyn. That called started the journey of getting a commissioned piece of art and the start of a wonderful friendship. Carolyn and her husband Rick welcomed us to their home that day. We saw dozens of pieces of her work. OMG, she is such a talented artist. Over the course of several hours, we saw different artwork and decided we wanted a custom piece. So, we arranged for her to come to our house and work with us on a commission piece of artwork. The process was so easy. Carolyn saw the design of our house, worked with my wife to create a painting that is the statement piece of our home. We love the final painting. Carolyn was communicating with us during the whole process. We went back to her house to look at the artwork and she made some minor adjustments before she delivered it to us. Carolyn even suggested how we should move some existing artwork throughout our home. We know have two pieces of her artwork in our house. If you are looking to have a personalized piece of art created, we would recommend Carolyn. Not only is she a talented artist, but she is also just a friendly and warm person. We love looking at our paintings.
