This ordinarily is just an inconvenience, but as my transmission in my car went out and I was stranded, it was more of a problem. I was in a situation where I had no way to communicate with mechanics/friends/etc. and so walked in to see if I could use their phone. Sam was so helpful, so kind, and also so chill, and it made an incredible difference on a day when my stress levels were very high. Not only did he let me use their phone, he started trying to debug whether an eSim would work for me, as well as providing lots of other helpful information. Understand that he was getting no business from me, he was just being helpful, as I was switching between two carriers unrelated to at&t. The next day, after I had come up with a game plan to get a new sim, I went back into mad mountain to get a temporary phone. When they didn't have the burner phone in stock, they went ahead and loaned me an iPhone so that I could buy and use a temporary sim, as my pixel wouldn't take their sims. I've never even heard of a wireless shop loaning out a phone like that. This is a locally owned entity, and they went above and beyond the call of duty both times, for which I am so grateful.
