Thanks, Patterson Kaye Resort! You made our reunion both exceptional & memorable!
After many back and forths and much debate, Patterson Kaye Resort was chosen as the site of our 2017 family reunion (our first since 2002). We wanted a casual place that was great for both kids and the oldtimers, and wow, did Patterson Kaye ever deliver! What a jewel of a location! I flew into Toronto from Vancouver, rented an SUV and was in the Muskokas in less than three hours. The site is idyllic and enchanting....little creeks and inlets off the river, cabins scattered throughout the property, firepits and bbqs, lots of beachfront, docks, motorboats, canoes, kayaks and paddleboats. It definitely felt like an old time cottagey-resort which is exactly what I was hoping for. But the heart of the place, and the reason for its success lies with Julio and the staff.....to a one, genuinely friendly, happy, outgoing, helpful with anything from supplying a fishing rod and worms (3 bass landed from the dock, all released) to catering a beachfront dinner for 30+. Absolutely perfect service and the food was delicious. Same goes with the restaurant; I had two breakfasts in there with Amanda serving us, and she was charming and the food was exceptional. Everybody, right down to the two young ladies doing the housekeeping chores, were exemplary in attitude and performance. I can't recommend Patterson Kaye enough, and I wish them every bit of success in the future; they deserve it and they've worked hard for it! Thanks to everyone at PK!!! You rock!!! read more
