At the Caves Road location where the indoor market is located -- Sunday, 29 September 2024
    Agnes I.

I visited in late September 2024 with my friend Leslie and her son. I previously visited in October 2023 with 4 other friends. LOCATIONS -- This Yelp review is for their the Caves Road location (Patterson's Farm Market) where the indoor market is located. This is also where you can buy fresh produce, honey, gifts, jams, and other items. This is the location that doesn't have Apple picking. Only their Mulberry Road location has Apple picking which is where the main farm is located. Their Orchard Hills location is in the same address (campus) as their Caves Road location and this is an events center. I've never been there. Some call it the 3rd location. During my recent visit in September 2024, I enjoyed my time at the market. I arrived after picking my own apples at the farm at the Mulberry road location. At the market, I bought about 2-3 donuts and a hot apple cider drink. The donuts were delicious but slightly too sweet. This farm isn't close to me so I'm not sure when I'll be back especially since this location on Caves Road has just the market plus events center but I suggest that you visit. It's always fun to come here in the Autumn season. **** GOAL of 365 reviews in 2025 - 16/365 total reviews in 2025 - 797 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 January 2025

THE best! We have been going here for years and they have the best fresh bakery items ever!! We are obsessed with their donuts, they are the best I've ever had! We also buy their apple cider by the jug, it is delicious! This place is great, especially around the holidays. The workers are the sweetest people as well, and take the time to chat with you. We absolutely adore this place, it is a must-visit!

Fun afternoon at Patterson's. To start, they have police helping to direct traffic which is nice. Outside are the pumpkins and food tents. Inside are donuts, cider and other products. We got some donuts and cider and enjoyed them.

Pros: Cute spot to get away from the city and eat some delicious apples and pastries. I had the Apple dumpling and it was very delicious, we also bought a few apple and pumpkin butters as souvenirs. Cons: Bathrooms are portapoties of latrines, so beware and bring your own hand wipes. The pastry could have been warmed for better flavor.

Make sure u go to this location (caves rd) the other location doesn't have anything but the apple farm. The caves rd location has a Playground, pumpkins, park, dogs allowed, hot apple cider, coffee, gift shop, donuts (not good), apples, candles, specialty items, candles, and retail shop

Some of their tasty donuts they offer. Highly rec the apple cider!

Such an adorable fruit farm! I went last week and they had so much to see and do. There's loads of apples of many varieties on trees to pick in September and their shop has so much to see. They've got hot cider, fresh produce, maple syrup and more. There's also a bakery in the back with their own pastries (The apple cider donut is delicious! Their apple dumplings are a little too tart for my taste). Outside is a pumpkin patch, more hot food and a playground. There's also a location of the same name about a mile away with more apples to pick. I had fun trying to find the smallest ripe apple but there's lots of huge ones around too. I'd highly recommend this as a wholesome family or friend outing!

Nice large farm store with fruits, bake goods, cider, jellies, kitchen gadgets, and lots of gift ideas. Outside are decks to sit on, a play area, and a small building for special occasions. Bring the family. This Patterson is on Caves Road. Another Patterson is on Mulberry Road. That is where the orchards are, a shop and kid activities. Check their website for seasonal events. Fun!

It's really nostalgic for me to see all the festive cookies and sweets since I grew up in Europe. Stories aside, this is not my usual ALDI destination (other Mayfield location is), but it is now after my first visit. I found this store to be very well stocked, carrying amazing assortments, and clean. AMBIANCE: The store is your standard AlDI experience. Same layout as elsewhere. This store is very clean and well organized. It's a great pleasure to browse. INVENTORY: I was very pleased with the inventory at this ALDI. Prices have the same great value as at other locations. The seasonal inventory is amazing - mulled wine, baking brie with cranberries, gingerbread coffee, nogs, ice wine, and so on. It's a perfect one-stop destination to get everything for your festive table. Aside from seasonal inventory, I found a few things that I can't find at other ALDI stores. For instance, holiday macarons were available! I most loved the gingerbread ones, and deeply regret not getting a second package. The store has BOOKS! I haven't seen books at other AlDI locations. You'll find books by Freida McFadden here for $9.99. I'm bookish girl, and was a huge fan of these finds! Most were sold out already but it's something to get super excited about! SERVICE: The service at this AlDI is so-so. I had a few questions about finding a few items, and they were pleasantly answered by the staff. The checkout was rather hurried, I wasn't even able to use my cart. My products were just abruptly thrown into my totes. I did not appreciate this level of service. I'd rather manage packing on my own. PARKING: There is a large parking lot by this store. The parking lot is a bit dim lit during the night which makes it look sketchy. ALDI sign is also dim. It's unusual for big plazas such as this one. Also, watch for patches of ice in the winter, it's not so well cleaned. Despite minor negative parts of the shopping experience, I plan to frequent this store. I'll be back this week to replenish macarons and buy cookies for a party I'm attending. If you have last minute holiday needs be sure to stop by!

Staples are available in bulk or individually (such as rice). You'll find Indian souvenirs behind the counter. There's also more than an aisle of packaged spices. I don't dabble much in Indian spices, but someone with spice needs would love this place. Indian spices linger in the air adding a dash of authenticity to this market visit. The inventory is plentiful but not logically organized. For instance, I found sweets in multiple different aisles. The prices for products are not well labeled on the shelves or on the products.
