The staff is always friendly and helpful. Although a bit outside my usual neighborhood, Produce Place Market is always worth a visit to stock my kitchen when I am in the area. I was shocked to find that they had expanded and doubled the size of their store, which is excellent for them. What isn't excellent is how much their prices have shot up. With all that is happening with vegetables currently we decided it might be a better idea to buy fresh, directly from the farm, produce. Unfortunately, that just wasn't in the cards. First, downtown Willoughby is so overwhelmed by the market on Saturday mornings it is very difficult to find parking. When we finally got to the market, which is actually quite small, most of it was craft, nic-nac products. There are some tables with baked goods (excellent Amish snicker doodle s). Then there were only 2 booths with produce. And their selection was quite limited. The ambiance of the place is more like a street fair than a market.
