She gave me poor advice, based on a conversation I had with several accountant friends. So I do not trust her professional opinion. I worked with Sarah Broughton at the office. She was not thorough, did not catch things, asked the wrong questions while missing the big issues, miscalculated my taxes showing I owed an additional $4200! She made ASSUMPTIONS that were wrong. Luckily I know about taxes and caught her errors. But, why did I pay her? And also, the return was supposedly reviewed and approved by Molly. They both missed the errors. Significant and costly assumptions. Please, do find someone else to do your taxes. This office is rude and incompetent.

However, this year there is an employee I believe named Kathy who seems to have a problem with working the desk and working with customers. Her general demeanor is not helpful and in talking with a tax preparer she tends to deliver messages that are incomplete. So much so that a message she said I needed to give her when she refused to let me speak to the tax preparer was given to the tax preparer wrong. She doesn't deliver messages. An apology for the mix up could have gone a long way, but basically "with a shrug of her shoulder" Informed that when someone becomes available, she would check to see if another appointment window could be made, still implying that this was fault of mine. Very unprofessional with other clients in lobby waiting and witnessing. I did believe that business has been handled in the past with professionalism, but unfortunately not today.
