Absolutely terrible and unprofessional experience. Sueann missed the deadline in submitting my…read moretaxes resulting in a significant penalty. This was compounded by the interest that accrued during the time that she would not return any phone calls, emails, or text messages. After reaching out a few days before the taxes were due, she assured me she would have them complete. This did not happen. Emails I sent to her and others in the office were never answered. When she finally answered much later, she said she would pay the penalty. This of course did NOT happen, and she has not returned any form of communication since. I am in complete shock and disappointment by the level of service or lack of that we experienced. I would absolutely not recommend using Sueann!

Pros: Professional, quick responses via Email, informative website, CPA, option to E-file…read moreCons: Honestly none! There is a bunch of construction outside his office, but this is obviously out of his hands. I have been doing mine and my wife's taxes for several years now with software programs without any difficulty. This year after clicking through the prompts, I was informed that I would owe a considerable amount in additional taxes, which frankly seemed incorrect, as we even withheld additional money over the last year. Late in March, I shot Bob (and several other local CPAs) with several questions. He responded quickly, and answered all my questions. We had an appointment, and I really liked his professional office and the 1-on-1 environment. This is not a Tax Preparer that does your taxes in a booth at Walmart, or with a roomful sitting nearby. Bob is a CPA that has been preparing returns for many years, and this was very obvious. Our return was ready within 7 days, and thankfully he was able to untangle the mess, finding a sizable return! We will be returning to Mr Hampton again for many years to come, and I highly recommend using his services.

Used this firm to assist with a custody modification in what should've been a slam dunk case that…read morecould've been handled with a single hearing. The firm then proceeded to stretch the case out across multiple needless additional court visits over the course of a year for the sole purpose of racking up billable hours and "negotiating" with the other party and their attorney along the way, all while keeping the case away from the judge and out of a hearing because it would've easily and mercifully have ended should that happen. We began to suspect the attorney was mishandling our case and got to the point we felt continuing to use him was actively sabotaging our chances at the proper outcome. In effort to protect ourselves, we later had our case reviewed by another attorney who explicitly told us based on this firm's handling of our case, that's exactly what was happening. Communication was poor and at times outright callous, and at no point did I or my family ever feel this attorney or his firm were looking out for anyone other than themselves and racking up as many billable hours as possible. This firm will rationalize it's attempts to charge hundreds of dollars for simple correspondence as well, from 5 minute phone calls they themselves initiate, to emails no longer than a few sentences and everything in between, so prospective clients beware.
