He was incredibly kind,…read moreknowledgeable, personable, and we were just appreciative of him simply acknowledging us after being ignored by so many others. The store is well organized and clean, and I love how there's always something unexpected and seemingly random on the shelves that makes you question how it got there, but that's all in the fun of the experience.

Hello Green Top. My name is John Futrell. I was in the store around 2pm today. I came to get some…read moremore, "Moebas" I had a very good experience with the previously purchased ones that resulted in one lost, but some decent 2 and almost 4lb Largemouth! I arrived today and saw some on the bottom of the glass display back in fishing. There was another brand on top of the Moebas so I couldn't see if there were any others besides the, "Mimizu" option. There was one gentleman helping two men with some reels and braided line. After a few minutes he went over and told another staff member that he had another customer that needed help. The other staff member was leaning surf rods up against a shelf to the right of where I was standing. He is a white guy, buzz cut with some thinning on top, he had, "a chew" in which he spit into a soda bottle, green shirt and a mustache. He came up front and I spoke. I asked him if there were any other color Moeba down below. He replied, "This is all we have!" before I was even finished speaking. I was going to say that I couldn't see completely what was on the bottom of the display because there was another brand of similar lures on top. I told him that, and he looked down to see. He was not friendly or pleasant at all like Gary and Justin have been in the last two recent trips. Very short and he seemed annoyed. I asked for two of the Mimizus, and told him I was going to continue shopping. I dealt with similar reactions at the old location, which I why I stopped coming to Green Top for several years. I too know what it's like to be busy at work, but if I was short and rude to my patients before their procedures, I would definitely be in trouble. I hope someone passes along some customer service tips to this individual. Thanks for stocking the Moebas, and taking care of your fishing customers. John Futrell

First of all, there is a sign on the door that clearly states that guns ARE allowed in the store. When I asked about the reviews I was told the original no guns policy was directed towards people who were perhaps carrying in antiques etc for the gunsmith and may need to be reminded to check their guns. The employees informed me this was never intended for legal carry weapons. They also informed me that concealed carry courses are even taught on the premises. The shop is very well organized and carries everything from tools to firearms. I was greeted by the two ladies working the counter when I walked in and was immediately asked if I needed any help with anything. I chose to browse, but when the employees saw me looking at the handgun rack behind the counter they immediately came to me offering assistance and allowed me to ask several questions and handle multiple firearms. I asked about a certain ammo and was informed they did not carry it, but was told it could and would be ordered and I left my number for pick up at a later date. Prices seem fair and the selection was surprisingly good given the location, which I thought would be sparse at best. I'm not sure how so many people rate this place poorly, but I will be a return patron in the future.

Maybe she was tired and ready to go because it was 8:30 pm & they close at 9 pm. I don't really know. Anyway, we looked at a few shoes & asked her to measure his foot. She didn't do a great job of that AT ALL. His toe was passed the 8.5 line & she told us to get a size 8.5 in every shoe we selected. Instead, I asked for 9.5 because he doesn't have the skinniest feet & she simply didn't know how to measure. She sighed and got the shoes. The kicker was she ONLY ALLOWED US TO TRY ON 1 SHOE AT A TIME!! Not one PAIR; 1 SHOE!! She literally handed us 1 shoe & stood there holding the box with the 2nd shoe hostage while hovering over us like we were going to steal the ONE SHOE we had in our hand. It was unbelievable. They didn't have much of a selection in the mens section, but we found something for him. I didn't want to give them a penny after that treatment, but my son was so excited for new shoes. I couldn't let him down. I will never go there again. I've never seen anything like this in my life. Only allowing people to try on 1 shoe is ridiculous. Go to Footlocker or somewhere else if you don't want to be treated like a criminal.

I would not ever go to this store again. I needed help with an exchange and ultimately the worker first attempted to not honor their stores policies. Tiara was clueless and I'm more than positive she messed up the exchange! I went in the following day to speak to the store manager and once again I was greeted by a hostile sales associate named Cherokee that was also clueless! The store manager was on FaceTime and was of zero help! Steer clear of this store as the female sales associates don't know how to do their jobs and will ruin any shopping experience! Do better!
