Always above and beyond helpful to get the grooming van filled with propane. Very friendly and swift, quality service.

I went there today to exchange a refurbished tank I had purchased from them several months ago. The tank had a faulty on/off valve and I wanted to exchange it for another and while there purchase an additional tank. The gentleman at the counter said, "you bought it, I can't give you an exchange" After years as a customer his curt off the cuff remark floored me. If that's their customer service attitude, I'm done. If I could give them no stars I would gladly do that.

The second time he said he was done, he had done the bottom of the grates and put the drawer back in the grill. I had to take care of something, so I paid him, gave him a tip, and he left. I just checked (almost three hours later), and he never cleaned the drawer. Maybe he wiped it down, but it's filthy. And he never cleaned the sizzle station burner. The top of the grate is spotless, but the bottom is disgusting. I could wipe off the grease with a paper towel, so it's not like it was baked on. And the tub that the burner sits in is filled with grease. Now I have to take it apart and do his job but no one is going to pay me $150/hour to do it. Do not hire these people to clean your grill. They're counting on you not checking and just cooking right over last year's grease. I even told the guy who made the appointment that it usually takes me over four hours to clean it, and he said it would take them an hour. Yeah, when you don't clean, it can take as long or as short as you want it to.

For 17 years, I continued to do business with Perillo Bros despite their higher prices because I valued the relationship and believed loyalty meant something. This year, I decided not to renew my annual contract because I found another reputable company that could save me more than $1.40 per gallon. I always dealt with Rich, and unfortunately, his attitude changed dramatically once he learned I would not be renewing. I was down to approximately 1/4 tank and still had about two weeks remaining on my contract, so I called to request an oil delivery. At first, he agreed to deliver. However, after I honestly explained that I was reluctantly moving on to another company, I was told they would no longer deliver to me. I then called and asked to speak with a manager, Steve, because I was genuinely concerned about running out of oil. I explained that we have an elderly person living in our home and that having adequate heat was extremely important. His response was incredibly upsetting. Rather than showing any understanding or trying to work with a customer who had been with the company for 17 years, he repeatedly told me, "We are not going to deliver," and told me to call my new company. I reminded him that I was STILL under contract with Perillo Bros. Unfortunately, that did not seem to matter. After 17 years of loyalty, I never expected to be treated this way simply because I made the decision not to renew my contract. Customers should not have to fear being treated differently the moment they decide to take their business elsewhere. This experience has caused me an enormous amount of unnecessary stress, especially given the concern about keeping an elderly person in our home warm. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of empathy, professionalism, and customer service I experienced. Loyalty should mean something, and after 17 years, I expected much better. I would not recommend Perillo Bros based on my experience. In fact, I would not return to them even if they were the cheapest oil company in town. After 17 years, this is how they chose to treat a loyal customer. That says everything I need to know.
