On both jobs, the price was very fair and the job was well done. With the patio replacement, the concrete truck left big ruts in our yard due to recent heavy rains. They did a great job with that, too. I would recommend Baldwin to anyone who needs this type of work done.

Though the designers lose interest in the project after it starts. They didn't come and check on the progress and make sure it going according to plan 2. Demo went well 3. Installation was terrible. They do shoddy work and do not pay attention to detail. 4. They cut corners and hope the customer doesn't notice. There were so many quality issues that would not have been addressed had I not brought it to their attention. I felt like I was the only person responsible for quality control. No one bothered to come and inspect the work. 5. Communication is not good. They would make appointments with me and then not show up without letting me know. Overpriced for the quality of work done. I would not use them again for any project in the future.

All of their contractors were polite and professional, which is important when you have someone working for a period of time in your personal and private living space. I would like to start off by saying, all-in-all, I was happy with the work that was done. I would definitely use them again if I needed similar services needed in the future, or anything else they provide work on. Really, the only downside was the amount of time, from initial contact to when the actual work was completed took longer than expected. There was mentioned a personal emergency, which I understand, and that they didn't want to schedule too many jobs in advance in case something runs over or a contractor is unexpectedly unavailable. But my initial contact took place on 10/24 and a contract wasn't sent over for me to review and return until 11/4, then I wasn't contacted to schedule an appointment until 11/20. So, while I would have liked to been kept in contact more, I am glad to say I was very happy with the work done. I would probably recommend calling the company, rather than using the website/email; that might provide a quicker turnaround. I just hate calling folks, so I avoid it when possible! Now on to the actual work. The contractor arrived on time, and looked professional. He was also courteous and didn't mind my cats, which is a bonus since they tend to be super nosy with visitors. He arrived around the ETA I was given, and was quick to ask what all I needed done. I showed him the three items we needed help with, and he said he would be able to get it all done. He got to work right away. I ended up needing to leave for work a little after he arrived, but my husband said he was great the entire time I was gone too. It wasn't until a few hours later that I came home to inspect everything. The toilet no longer constantly runs, my caulking job looks perfect, and I have a nice new showerhead instead of what was left over from the previous owners! The initial contact went a little slow, but I am very happy with the overall results, thus my rating. The hourly rate was a little higher than I expected, but I knew it ahead of time. I'm just glad he got done quickly; they definitely don't mess around or try to pad their timesheet, and for that I am grateful. I definitely recommend Punch Out Plus, LLC.

If this job had simply been done poorly, I could have accepted that mistakes happen. What I can't…read moreaccept is spending nearly three months chasing a contractor who continually delayed the project, produced work that wasn't even close to acceptable, and then threatened me with a lien instead of fixing it. Remediation began on December 30, and that part went reasonably well. Everything after that fell apart. By January 28, I was the one initiating contact just to find out when reconstruction would even begin. I continued following up through February, getting excuses, delays, and requests to help negotiate with my insurance company--even though both the insurance adjuster and I explained multiple times that those conversations needed to happen directly between them. When the flooring was finally installed, it was shockingly bad. It was lifting, chipped, uneven, and visibly miscut. It wasn't something you had to inspect closely to notice (it was obvious immediately). Even the owner agreed it wasn't acceptable. Other work was also left unfinished. Trim wasn't reinstalled. Appliances were never put back where they belonged. A different sink was installed without ever asking me. The house was left very messy. Meanwhile, instead of correcting any of these issues, I was repeatedly asked for more money. After I paid for the mitigation work on March 16, I expected we could finish the project professionally. Instead, I was threatened with a lien if I didn't pay additional amounts, despite the obvious workmanship problems that still hadn't been corrected. The end result is that I now have to pay another contractor to replace flooring that should have been installed correctly the first time. The delays were frustrating. The workmanship was unacceptable. The payment demands and lien threats while the job remained unfinished were the final straw. I would never hire this company for anything, let alone recommend them.
