A friend referred me over to Steve's Service Center of Knoxville. A day before taking the vehicle to Steve's, the engine through a rod and caught fire destroying the wiring harness. I had it towed to Steve's Service Center where I was told the wrong engine type was placed in the vehicle which was the cause of all the issues. Steve's had my engine replace with the proper engine under warranty and replaced the wiring harness. The fact that the issues were properly diagnosed helped to covered all the costs. The vehicle runs perfect now! I would not take my vehicle anywhere else or trust my vehicle with anyone but these folks. They know what they are doing and they are honest and trust worthy. I spent four years taking this vehicle from one mechanics to another with no results to resolve the real issue. Best Customer Service - Quick turn over time - Did not over charge for work performed - Very Professional - Inspected entire vehicle including proper tire inflation. Explained everything clearly so I could understand - Best over all Service!

I searched the internet and found out it might be the (EATC) the electronic dash controller so I purchased one an replaced it myself, well that let it work for a few days. So I'm back to square 1, so I found out it could be the Blend door actuator, this Item opens and closes the doors under the dash that adjust the Climate Control in the Car, basically the AC/Heater settings so once again I order the part and find out how to change it out on the internet. 2 days of pulling the dash apart and got it done. Great ! AC for a few more days Bang it goes Hot again NO AC so after this I was totally stumped so for course I had to wait a bit and put it in the Shop so I took it to a local reputable shop and they Found a leak in my Upper AC hose, so they fix it but the only thing was it took them 10 days to get the hose because of Part supply chain issues, but they got it fixed a recharged Yay!! Right ? Wrong 10 days later it just starts blowing hot again. At this point I'm like Bull%^*&, and a couple more *&^%^%^. So I took it back to the shop the said they were stumped too. I had told them I changed the Blend door not long before I brought it to them, so they didn't check that again and they told me to take to another shop or the dealer that might have a better Idea about what was going on with the AC. So of course I was looking for to spending the Money I knew was going to be alot, mainly because the whole dash was gonna have to be removed to get to the core of the problem. OK here is were my actual review starts, I start looking for a few places that specialize in Auto AC but most of them were miles away in Knoxville so I was a little disappointed the next day I got a coupon card in the Mail from CarFix auto repair in Maryville so I looked it over and called them. I was Professionally Greeted by Cade Larkin one of the service writers there he was very helpful and encourage me to bring it to them. And he said they would find out what the problem was, so I told him I would be there the next Day. I was greeted quickly all of the crew there are very Professional. Cade took my key and the check out was being done, I was expecting it to be quick and I would just be on my way back home, still driving a hot car. Well they quickly found what the problem was, apparently...the blend door actuator had failed I guess it a common thing with some electronic parts. So I remembered how long it took me to change it the first time under the shade tree,, 2 Days sweating !!! So cade gave me and estimate and assured me it would be fixed and that the part would be under Warranty for 3 years and believe the labor was included in the Warranty for there service, so its like 95 degrees outside Id had enough of driving around in a hot car!! And I told Cade lets get it done, I told him I would wait a bit. He was very attentive he kept me informed of the progress. He told they could give ma shuttle ride home, but I ask if they had Loaner cars. He went out of his way to get one returned early for me. I had brought the car in around 9:30 am at the point that I left was about 12:45PM with the Loaner car. I was gonna do a few errands but decided to go home and get a Nap. At around 2pm I received a call from Cade telling me I could come get my Car!!!! The reason I tell my story is it was the Friday before the 4th of July weekend, this CarFix location was Great!!!! And they even put my New Car Tag on for me. This place is my new go to for car maintenance and repair when I need Service on my car again. Thank YOU Cade and CARFIX!!!!!!

I was In Kentucky at the time and this place, being in Knoxville was about 150miles away. I called Auto Express after looking it up on Google maps and verified it with Yelp. 5 stars. Without hesitation, I called. Initially, I was not impressed with the phone conversation as the guy on the other end didn't pick up with an "Auto Express, how may I help you?" , but rather picked up and said "Hello" as if to welcome the dead silence that followed. After clarifying with the guy on the phone that I had called the right place and asking if they sold tires (thinking for sure I would have to buy a full set or something) he said "Yeah, bring it in. The sooner the better." I was off put that they guy didnt ask for any information about my car or situation. Fast forward, I pull up to the shop. I don't see any tire selection in the store front or a street facing garage (must be in the back). I came in and asked for the guy who I talked to on the phone. Saying nothing, the guy instead just asked for my key. Hesitating, I held the keys in my hand, dangling them a bit, and said "don't you want to look at it first? I didn't even tell you what kind of car.." The guy cut me off, barking "do you want me to look at it, or do you want me to fix it!?". I submitted to him that I wanted him to fix it and surrendered my key... tire fixed in like 15min, no line, no wait, no charge. In summary, this place is a great place to take your car. Just expect that the people running the place are a little socially awkward and/or lacking in social skill. Overall solid job.

I walked in expecting the same routine I had gotten at least 5 times and was greeted by a dog in the Office. as I petted the dog he started wagging his tail and a few seconds later a pretty young lady asked if she could help me and I explained the situation. A gentleman of my senior walked in and I noticed the name "Crow" on his shirt so assumed this to be the proprietor. I once again stated the situation and plainly said "Please I just need it straight enough to drive until I get the funds to finish it. He looked at me, then to the dog who was standing between us as if to ask, "What do you think?" After a minute of contemplation the gentleman smiled and said "I'll take your money but I can't make you any promises. I think the phrase was "No hot rodding or 4 wheeling until you get this fixed." Then the magic began. In 7 Minutes they were taking the truck off the rack and Crow took it for a test drive. I graciously payed the man and swapped stories with another old timer that was in for. you guessed it,an alignment. I am sorry I have made this so long winded. I wanted to document and share an experience I had recently with the Beaty Chevrolet service…read moredepartment in Knoxville, TN. I had purchased my 2022 Trailblazer from them back in 2022 and had a pleasant buying experience at that time. I've been to the service department many times for oil changes and routine maintenance, and for the most part I've also had good experiences. But recently the check engine light had come on and so I first took it to my regular mechanic to have it diagnosed. He said the code was indicating the water pump was likely going to need to be replaced, and that this was a big job and an expensive job, and he said it's still under the drivetrain warranty. So his recommendation was to bring it back to the Chevy dealer, which is what I did. I made an appointment and dropped the car off and was assigned a service advisor named Kane. I had a pleasant conversation with Kane when I dropped off the car and let him know that I wasn't in a rush to get the car back but I would like him to keep me updated on it. A week later, I had not heard anything and so I texted the number that Kane sent to me to ask for a status. I didn't get a response, so a couple days later I called the number and asked to speak with Kane. I was transferred to his line and left a detailed message on his voice mail including my call back number. I got no call back, so after a week I called again and explained the situation to another advisor. He said he wasn't sure why Kane wasn't responding, but that he'd route me to Kane right away. Unfortunately, that transfer again went to Kane's voicemail, and I left yet another message for him that went unanswered. The next day was now September 16, which was more than 2 weeks since I dropped the car at the dealer. I called the switchboard operator and explained that I am having an issue with an employee named Kane and I needed to speak with his manager. I was put on hold for several minutes, and was surprised when Kane answered the call. I told him who I was and reminded him that I have left a few messages for him regarding my car. He immediately went into a rude, and even belligerent status, and started telling me that he texted me a week earlier to pick up my car (which was not true) and that I needed to get there and pay the 200 dollars and take the car. I told him that I received no phone call and no text from him and asked him what was done to justify the $200 expense. He said that was the diagnostic fee, no issues were found and they turned off the check engine light. I feel it is unacceptable to charge 200 dollars to simply turn off the light and I'm certain this issue will resurface again; most likely after the warranty period expires. Kane then very rudely reiterated for me to pick up my car, pay the bill and then promptly hung up on me. Wow, that is not the type of service I ever want to experience again. Not ever, not from any company. I contemplated refusing to pay that bill, but it's probably not worth 200 dollars to immerse myself into additional unwanted drama. I will never be back to Beaty Chevrolet for any reason. Not to purchase a car, and definitely not for service. The fact that the manager didn't want to hear from me and routed my call back to the service advisor is also unacceptable. If a company has an employee that behaves that way, a leader of the company has to deal with those situations. It's not fun to hear from clients that are unhappy, and it's not fun reprimanding employees that are not meeting the company standards, but it has to be done. I will share this experience with as many review sites that I can.

They did a great job of playing out what the vehicle needed in both the short-term and the long term. One thing I appreciate it very much was the fact they did not try and pressure me into any sort of repair at all and we're very honest about what was needed on the vehicle and what needed to be addressed immediately versus what needed to be deferred or could be deferred on down the road. they're waiting area is very very nice with things like water and coffee available free of charge. It's also very bright and nicely decorated. Something I appreciate it because I decided to wait for my vehicle to be serviced on the premises. Staff is really really nice and like I said they're extremely knowledgeable about what's going on and we'll be straight up with you. And for the price, you get excellent service and and honest assessment of what's going on. They are not the cheapest in town, but they're not the most expensive either. I think the value is there and really worth the money. One thing I need to note is that they have a policy of not allowing people to bring their own parts. Some people I noticed in the reviews are upset about this, I for one and not one of them. I understand that they want to know where the parts are source for, if they have a warranty or not, and I'm okay with that. I would highly recommend these people!
