They fix the problem and don't find new ones in the process. AAA approved. Good service. Helpful, respectful guys. I stopped in here one morning about a puddle I was seeing underneath my car. They couldn't get me in the garage that day, but Scott came out and looked around to make sure I was good to drive around. Came back in a day or two later and they got my car up, did the work I asked for, inspected a few things, and gave me a good price. They even suggested I come back in a week later to make sure there were no more leaks. They took a look at no charge.

They took my car apart and told me about 4 different things that needed to be fixed that had nothing to do with what is wrong with it. They priced it at $497, and when we told them we didn't have that much to spend because we already knew what was wrong and what it should cost us they told us it would still be 3 hours before our car was ready because they had to "put it back together" and the dude working on it was on a lunch break... so without even getting any service done they took 4 hours and charged us $119 just to tell us what the alleged "problem" was... they have no idea what they are doing and they are very rude and lazy.

I had transmission issues with both of my vehicles at the same time. And both had the exact same…read moresymptoms. A mechanic that I use to service my cars (they don't do transmission) told me the best place (in his opinion) to take my van. The repair cost me $4500.00! Then it was time to take my truck in because I wanted to sell it, because since retirement I rarely drove it. But a friend told me about Mr Cool transmission repair (He loved their service and value) so I figured I'd give them a shot, as I felt the transmission shop I took my van to ripped me off. Long story there. So I figured since both cars had the same issue (stuck in second gear) that I'd be paying around the same amount on my truck repair. Then several days after I took it in, they called and I closed my eyes thinking another big bill. The receptionist said "your trucks ready, the total is $350.00 plus tax." I about fell on the floor. They did a great job, and the price was right! I only wish I'd taken my van to Mr Cool. If you have transmission issues, check out Mr Cool. They're VERY cool.

Ok. I have a transmission issue…read more Brought it in to determine the root-cause. They found an old (not cleared) thermostat problem that I fixed a year ago. It didn't totally close, thus not allowing the Cat o get up to temperature quickly enough. I replaced for $25 and 45 minutes, easy. Check-engine light disappeared. But obviously the code locked in. And also they said I needed a full replacement transmission. Which I don't deny may be required. , sorta. I am 71 years old, done professional car work since 17. The ONLY reason I am not doing this myself is age. But that said, before I would tear down anything I would already know what component is bad. A valve, cam sensor, etc. My symptoms are of a valve-body stuck valve, causing the clutch(s) to not fully engage. Thus I wanted a more concise explanation for why I should give them $5,000 - $6,000 to replace the entire Xmission. I really should have had a talk with the trained mechanic that could go into depth about the detailed reason it is giving me problems. But I got the worker at the register explaining the estimate to me. I have 100% confidence she has ZERO true mechanical knowledge/training past what to say. She should have called the Tech to talk to me. Had that happened I would have set an appointment to have it replaced. But given the weak thermostat ($330) ghost diag, I had zero confidence about the rest of their work. Reminds me of "give a kid a hammer and everything looks like a nail".
