I get 2 minutes down the road and it falls off and my car is scraping like crazy sounding like the bottom of the car fell out. I do NOT recommend going here, if I can't trust them to bolt a skid plate up, how do I know they did my radiator service good????

No, I will not call back Monday for a 3rd call. I'll start with "I'll Never be back to the 7500…read moreAsheville Hwy location"; after being told by the assistant manager(Trace?) that I would definitely be getting a full refund for the AC Service that failed, even IF he had to take it out of his own pocket. He took my name, phone number and Invoice 13616 and said he would talk to the manager(James/Brady?) The AC Service normally takes about 45min to an hour. Their AC machine ran for about 45-min then froze up, so they had to restart it to override system and go through the whole process again. I was told they they thought it finished the whole process, but now here we are trying to get a refund that I was promised. And Customer Care was of no use, they escalated it to managment and I was told they regional director would call me normally within two hours...2-days later, no such call. Called Customer Care again... was told I have escalated your comments to managment again and requested a call as soon as possible; it's been a week now number CC-532974; SO odds are that money is gone and I'll Never stop at Any Valvoline Instant Oil Change place, because I'll forever remember this horrible experience and just cringe when I see the Valvoline Logo.

He said it was the starter. She jumped her car to drive it down there no problem. When John called the next day, he said they can't jump it even if it's in neutral. He said if she wants to take her car to get another opinion, she would have to get it towed. So she had it towed to the Honda dealer on parkside. The Honda dealer told her that the water splash plastic panel is missing from her car and the starter sensor is burnt out completely. When she called to Firestone and spoke to John about the water panel, he said he would put it back. Then when she personally stopped down there, another man that worked there said he never had the water panel, never saw it and they don't steal! When we jumped her car before taking it down there, the water panel was clearly in tact. This place is shady and when they found out she didn't want the work done there, they purposely broke the starter and stole her water panel. Beware of these criminals. They took advantage of this old lady and were smiling and laughing when she went down there to ask questions. Them breaking her car, cost her over $2,000 At the Honda dealership. This Firestone was convenient to her home and she wanted to keep her business local, but what a joke! She will be contacting corporate and filing a police report for the stolen water panel. If it has to go to civil court over $500, she will prosecute. Hopefully, they can reach out to her and find her "missing" water panel before garage day on Friday. This is bad business and taking advantage of the elderly. I'm fuming mad for my lovely neighbor.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THESE FOLKS…read more I set up an appointment last Saturday the 23rd to bring in two vehicles for tires. A classic 78 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and a 94 Toyota Hilux pickup. They were one of the few places that had the type and sizes I needed. I was told over the phone that the timeframe would be about 1-2 hours per vehicle. They recommended I stagger the vehicles so I wouldn't be without a car. I arrived before 10:30 and dropped the jeep. I was then told about two hours. I was reluctant, but the car needed tires and I would be strapped for time the following week so I left it. My wife was with me with my other vehicle so we did some necessary errands. The time went by and no call. Because we were a little remote and had poor cell service and the 2 hour window had elapsed I decided to come back. To my surprise the Jeep had not even been moved from its parking spot. When I asked they simply told me they were busy and it would be another 2-3 hours. We're up to 5 hours now for a job that had an appointment scheduled to take 1-2 hours tops. The Counterperson, John indicated they would take some money off for the inconvenience. I did not leave the truck at the appointment time It had obviously because I'd be completely without transportation and I had work to do requiring a vehicle. Around 2:30 I got the call the Jeep was ready. I swung by and swapped vehicles. While driving there was a scraping noise in the front right of the vehicle that worsened with braking. It got a little better with time, but I had to stick with work and couldn't return with the vehicle since my truck was now getting tires. It wasn't until 6:15, 45 minutes before they closed that I got the call the truck was ready. I picked it up and paid for it reluctantly. The only excuse I got was "we do things slower here in the south." in this case it was almost 8 hours to field replacement of 8 tires between two vehicles. The next day I took the jeep out to find the noise was now a loud grinding. I stopped, jacked the car up to find that some numbskull had placed the wheel weights on the wrong part of the rim and they had been grinding away on the brake caliper! Thankfully the soft lead weights didn't do any real damage, but they sure gouged the efff outa my wheel apparently getting old weights off. I repositioned the weights and cleaned up the wheel slightly. Remounted and now the noise was completely gone. HOW HARD WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TO ROTATE THE WHEEL WITH YOUR HANDS TO CHECK FOR CLEARNACE ISSUES? No way I would ever recommend this place to anyone. Incompetent, poorly managed and obviously don't hire techs with enough brain cells to rub together to make a spark!
