Wife had the chicken pot pie which she said was excellent. I had the fish and onion rings. Onion rings were excellent. The fish was good not great but the tartar sauce not one of the best I have had. We both had a cup of the crab soup which was very good. Servers were very friendly and did an excellent job. Finished off the meal with a slice of lemon cake which was very good. My husband and had supper here while passing through town. We like to find local places versus chain restaurants. Patrick's is definitely local and once you find it is well worth the effort. The menu is classic pub food and includes wings, burgers and other traditional sandwiches and platters. The breadsticks and crab dip is a delicious filling appetizer. I had a bowl of chili that was seasoned with jalapeños and a touch of sweetness. It was excellent, warmed me just enough since we sat on the deck. My husband had a bleu cheese burger and he said it was very good. Our server was friendly, funny and very attentive. There's a decent beer menu and some desserts though we were too full to try one. Came in from out of town, and we enjoyed this place. Had a good selection of draft beers, the zucchini fries were really good as an app. The fried shrimp that my wife ordered was really good, and tasted fairly fresh. My only complaint is my burger was cooked well instead of medium, but it was still very good, so I didn't complain any. read more

First time visit with a client contact as we were searching for different Cumberland dining options. Like many others, Yelp* led us to Patrick's. It was a challenge to find the place at first as it's just beyond a Martin's Food Market. When we pulled into the lot, I saw the sign stating it was a D'Atri brand. It's been at least 20 years since I've been to a D'Atri as I really didn't care for their food. Patrick's, on the other hand, is a different story. Outside dining, a spacious dining room and cheerful staff make Patrick's very inviting. We found a place to sit and Morgan was quick to greet us and take our drink orders. She offered her recommendations. We perused the decent two sided menu and I decided on the Mozzarella logs and Reuben. My client chose the dry Old Bay wings and Chicken Parm sandwich minus the bread. The food? A pleasant surprise! Outstanding wings! Meaty and tasty! The Mozzarella logs were piping hot and appeared to be house made. The marinara definitely was not from a jar. My Reuben was hot and delicious! Too many fries, though. I used the dressing for the fries. My friend's Chicken parm looked to be freshly prepared and he loved it. Portions outstanding. The house was packed for a Monday, and for good reason. This is anew go-to for those in the area and although the setting is a bit rustic, we're still literally in downtown Cumberland. I think Patrick's is worth every consideration if you're looking for a decent place to eat. And drink. read more

We were in town from Michigan and decided to check out one of the local restaurants. The service from our waitress was fine however the customer service was lacking. My husband ordered fish and chips thinking he was getting hand battered cod but instead was served frozen fish from Gordon's to which the waitress did not deny after the fact. She did offer to exchange it, but we never send food back in fear of what they might do to the next meal. My husband was so turned off by how the food looked that he literally ate 3 fries. She then asked if we wanted a box to take it home to which my husband replied, "um no absolutely not." No amount of money was taken off, there was no adjustment made, it was very poorly dealt with and the manger or owner never showed their face. I could also hear the staff talking about my husband and him not wanting the food. Oh and the cheese logs, sucked. They were bland as hell. And the thousand island was spicy which is weird. The chicken tenders looked like they were soaked in grease. If u like bland, frozen, factory made food, then this place is for you. I suggest going elsewhere- McDonald's is better. We shouldn't have even left a tip on our $55 bill when all we ate was 1/2 my salad, 1/2 the side of mac and cheese, and 1 cheese log each. Yuck - this place doesn't deserve the 1 star I have to give it! read more

This review is from me and a guest who came to the restaurant. Every time I came here this place is perfect. This is my favorite restaurant in western Maryland. This is the third time me and my guest have come here. We came at around 4pm today (Thursday, May 2nd, 2019), we sat ourselves per instructions of the sign by the matre'd, and were tended to within the minute of having a seat. Drinks came out very quickly, and the Pepsi and coffee we ordered tasted great and was fresh. The frying oil for the fried foods I got for my order has a clean, good tasting flavor and it tastes great every time I go there. I got the mozzarella logs and cheddar bacon fries for my appetizers and the chicken tenders for my main meal, which I got onion rings as the side order for them. The portion size is large for the cheddar bacon fries, with extra cheese and bacon layered in with a perfect flavor in every bite. The mozzarella logs are huge, and we're given 5 per order. The onion rings are big and have a great flavor and are cooked perfectly every time, along with the other food I get, everything has always been perfectly cooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, I like the set-up there, it's nice that they have TVs there to watch what's on as well and it's nice that our waitress said we can ask for the channel to be changed if we want something else on. We had our order taken accurately and quickly, and the food came out within about 6 minutes or so, the appetizer of the mozzarella logs came out first, followed with our fries, and the meal came out shortly afterwards. The chicken and mushroom sandwich is incredibly juicy and flavorful. I expected the sandwich in a burger bun, not a sub roll, which actually came out better than I would have expected if it came out on a burger bun. The portions of the sizes are like everything else: large and a great value! These are some of the best onion rings I've had in years. Our waitress Kylie was courteous the whole visit, patient for us to order our food, brought up a recommended dessert that sounded good, but we were full from our food so we'll keep in mind to try it next time (we bring home boxes every time we're there of our remaining portions of food). She was also courteous for our privacy, not coming too often, but still was watchful and attentive to our time here, refilling our glasses and making sure we are happy. I hope we have Kylie again as our waitress next time. I also asked her to pass on our word of our positive experience we had at Patrick's to the owner. Everyone there does a great job from my observances. I am happy and satisfied every time I come here and I give my review a 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend coming to Patrick's and I will be back again many more times. read more

Food was less than desirable. Crab cakes didn't have much flavor. My first baked potato was obviously not fresh (I would guess 1-3 days old), had been over baked, and came cold. The waitress ordered a second one for me, but it didn't come until I was done eating, and it also was clearly not fresh and over baked, but this one had been heated so long in the microwave that the outside of it was tough and could hardly be cut. I managed to eat some of the flesh, but it tasted old and flavorless. I would give an even lower score, but the restaurant had nice ambiance and the service was fair. read more

I'm a local. Owner is a good guy who is approachable. Family showed up early accidentally on a Sunday, they allowed us to come in a sit and wait. Service is always very good, even when busy the wait staff does a good job to get you refills, etc. Wings are a little over-priced but if you get SWEET HOT flavor, you won't complain. We were looking for a place to watch football before catching the train and Patrick's was perfect. a few blocks from the train station and it had great Yelp reviews. A quick look at the website promised a clean spot with lots of TVs, all the games and it was smoke free. arrival had ample parking and we were greeted and seated quickly. We were wearing our team colors and the manager stopped over to assure us our game would be on next. We lingered for almost 3 hours and were very comfortable. everyone was friendly, service was prompt, and the food was excellent. We spent $55 including a generous tip for 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 soda with endless refills, and 3 draft domestic beers. good deal. We shared crab dip with bread sticks which was delicious. Dip was hot with nice chunks of crab and the bread sticks were soft, buttery, and garlicky. We also had cheddar bacon fries (fresh cuts) and they were spot on. Entrees were turkey mushroom melt and black Angus roast beef ciabatta. Both delicious. A bar like this makes me want to visit Cumberland again and soon. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

My wife and I are from out of town and we stopped at Patrick's for dinner last night. My evening started with my car bottoming out in a giant pothole in the parking lot which I didn't see....ugh! We were seated quickly and the staff was friendly. Our waitress was very good and personable. My Chicken Mushroom and Swiss sandwich was average....needed to add salt/pepper to give it more taste. My wife's hamburger wasn't bad....then again it was just a hamburger! The French fries were warm and very good. Upon our departure we asked for a box to take our leftovers home. We also asked for "to go" cups for our ice tea. The waitress came back with the box and NO cups. She told us they don't give out "to go" cups. We asked why and she tried to explain. I think she was just as confused as we were. I have never been denied "to go" cups. She went back to her manager to get clarification....she came back with NO cups! Manager said they are for TO-GO orders only. We asked why can we take our food that we paid for and not our ice tea?? She went back to the manager again and returned with NO cups! I didn't realize the "TO-GO Cup Nazi" was in town......NO CUPS FOR YOU!! How many times does a manger send out his waitress to the dirty work before he's realizes a customer is not happy? Regardless, we needed to stop at Sheetz for a drink since I had to put so much salt on my chicken sandwich to bolster the taste! Met friends for dinner and had a great time. Service was great. Food was excellent. They make a stellar steak sandwich, and the coleslaw, fries , and mac and cheese were very good. They missed a 5 star rating because the fish on a fish and chips platter was very disappointing- extremely greasy with no flavor whatsoever . Bagged grocery store salad mix with over cooked pieces of fried chicken slathered in gross buffalo sauce. So much sauce couldn't use the dressing and I couldn't eat it anyway! The food portions were big and everything was delicious. We had the crap dip and mozzarella logs for appetizers. Good sized portions and very tasty. Havnt been to Patrick's in a year or so. But the food was good. Southwest chicken was amazing. The crab cake was great. Disappointed in the dessert menu. Need more options for the cheese cake. Maybe offer cherry or strawberry topping. And with the lava brownian maybe offer ice cream to go with it. Shout out to the amazing Waitress Ramona who was on top of her game, always had our drinks filled half way ...never empty. Very patient with my indecisive husband. Passing through town at the end of a road trip and dropped in for lunch. Our server, Mariah, was about as delightful as a person can be. We ordered a French Dip and Buffalo chicken sandwich and both declared them the best we've ever had. The onion rings were cooked perfectly (and are a standard side).
