"No problem", he said. The shirts were for my wife and kids as part of family our vacation/reunion together. I stopped by in the afternoon the day we'd discussed that I'd need them by. He hadn't even started and said he wouldn't have them done until the following day. I told him that we were flying out the next morning at 5am. He basically said I was out of luck and that he was busy. I was extremely disappointed and upset...mostly because as a business owner, you shouldn't make promises that you can't keep.

I have been unable to find what I needed in the Houston area. Becky's Sewing Center had all the fabrics I was looking for at a really great price, better than any other prices I have found online (I have been looking for a couple weeks). Palmer and Russell were extremely helpful and made sure my order was perfect. I was shocked at how quickly I received the fabric since they had to ship it from Idaho to Texas. The customer service with this shop is wonderful. I just wish they had a sister shop here close to me. When I'm looking for something specific, I plan on checking out Becky's before I spend a lot of time in energy looking elsewhere. Sandi Jones

It is very rare to find complete collections of top, popular designers and this place excels at it. You will find some traditional prints here, but most of the space is dedicated to Violet Craft, Tula Pink, Alison Glass, Moda, etc. All fabrics were high quality. They carried several colors of Tula Pink's "Free Fall" and several other quilt backings. A definite plus. The display quilts are gorgeous and of various styles and skill levels. Some have kits available though I wish more did. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They carry Aurifil. I cannot recommend this place enough! At least stop in to feel the fabric and take in the beautiful colors. Notes: street parking, accessible but tight spaces inside. Carries other sewing patterns besides quilts.
