I have always had nice, thick, and generally long hair. However during quarantine I did some diy hair dye and hair cuts. Constantly trying to dye my own hair and lifting color myself damaged the lower half of my hair to where it was constantly frizzy, tangled, and there was a lot of breakage. I tried to do hair masks every two days to try to get my hair back to its normal healthy state, but no luck. So I went in to Method Salon to chop off all of the damaged hair. I told Tim, as I have told all of my past hairdressers, to do whatever he thought would look best and to cut off what was needed to make my hair look healthy! Tim did a fantastic job of working with me to find a style that would flatter my face shape and making sure that I was ok with the length! I ended up buying two of the products that Tim used on my hair too-- the Oribe Dry Shampoo and the Oribe Split End Seal. They smell heavenly and make my hair look like I just stepped out of a salon. Although she was very quiet, she was very focused and allowed me to have a relaxing experience. The receptionist was also very friendly. I was offered some infused water when I checked in and only waited for about 2 minutes. I just wanted a haircut so I started off by showing Paige two different pictures on my phone of something I was considering. I could tell she combined the two photos in her head before cutting my hair, and she only saw the photos for a couple seconds! Every haircut includes a wash, hot towel around your neck, scalp massage, hand/arm massage, and a neck and shoulder massage. You can opt out of anything, but I enjoyed the relaxation of it all. Also, the pricing is very competitive with other salons in the area, if not cheaper. After cutting, drying, and layering my hair she offered to straighten or curl my hair. She never seemed in a rush and made me feel great. I just wish she would have told me which products she was using in my hair, during the hand massage, and for the neck massage. She even sprayed something in my hair before drying it so now I'm curious what all she used and what they did. But I guess I could have asked. Overall, I have never loved a haircut so much the first day. I had a great experience at Pure Concepts and will be coming back next time.
