A1 distinguished itself from these other outfits immediately. The repairman (Mr. Trey) was excellent, took care of it - no waiting for a replacement part - and a pleasant personality. Still being relatively new to the area, I wasn't familiar with A1, and I'll certainly remember to call on them again when/if the need arises. Thanks, A1 - you definitely live up to your band name.

Called McKinney. Spent about $350 change two parts. Did not fix the problem. Did not answer my calls. Called Brents Appliance Repair. He advised me to call A-1 he said they had the diagnostic equip to diagnosis the problem. A-1 sent a guy out he diagnosed the problem changed the part and was done and gone in 30 mins. Unfortunately, the appliance failed again just days later. The company received and cashed a check for more than $2,000 for the repairs. Since then, getting any meaningful response or follow-up service has been extremely difficult. As of the date of this review, the appliance still has not been properly repaired. Communication has been one of the most frustrating parts of this experience. Adrienne Rainer, the Office Manager, and the company generally do not return calls within a reasonable timeframe. In our experience, it routinely takes multiple voicemails and emails over the course of a week just to receive a return call or email response. Further, during the service visit when we were told the repairs had been "completed," the workers (one named "Eric R.") left screws, nails, and other small sharp components scattered across the floor (a primary walkway). This was particularly concerning because the workers had been in the home for hours and were aware that small children were present. Leaving nails and screws on the floor of a home with small children was both careless and alarming. The area surrounding the appliance was also left in noticeably worse condition. There were black smudge marks on the walls and baseboards near the appliance, along with dents and damage to the trim and boards where the appliance had been moved and put back into place. At this point, we have an appliance that remains unrepaired despite months of service attempts and more than $2,000 having been paid for the work, damage to the surrounding area, and an ongoing struggle simply to get someone from the company to return a phone call.

We had a misunderstanding about putting a mirror on a dresser we got delivered, and the service came right out to fix the problem. The customer service manager was patient and kind; so were the rest of the staff. The prices were also low and reasonable! Much lower than Miskellys!

Although honestly, you can probably find better furniture for a cheaper price on Craigslist. I came here with my daughter a couple of times after she was recently married. She did end up buying furniture on Craigslist. The place looks clean, but it just doesn't feel clean. If that makes any type of sense at all. We purchased a Thermadore 36 in range and a large Thermadore double refrigerator. We purchases a Thermadore ventilation system for our range, a Thermadore dishwasher and a KitchenAid icemaker. Southwest Appliance has already had to replace sensors in our stove (350.00) repair the icemaker and the fridge. On Easter our ventilation system went out , lights, vent, everything. The detergent dispenser has broken on our dishwasher. My husband and I are sixty years old and don't abuse our possessions. This has been unbelievable.
