Our experience with this practice has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Communication…read morehas been consistently poor, and there appears to be a lack of coordination and follow-through from staff. We were informed that they are not affiliated with Dignity Health, which has made it difficult for them to access or locate my grandmother's information. Each time I have called, the staff seem unsure and unable to provide clear answers. I am frequently placed on hold, only to be told that someone will return my call. I have made multiple attempts--calling several times and leaving numerous voicemails--to understand the next steps for obtaining my grandmother's neuropsychological evaluation results from December 2025. Each time, I am told that I will get a call back, yet we have not received any follow-up. This ongoing lack of communication and accountability has been incredibly stressful, especially given the importance of these medical results! It has been months without resolution. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice with Dr. Mani Nezhad. Patients and their families deserve timely responses, clear communication, and a genuine effort to provide support and unfortunately Link Neuroscience does not provide that.

We were at the hospital because she hit her head badly and wasn't coherent. I called trying to get information about who her GP was because we weren't sure and she wasn't answering. The doctor told me it was inappropriate for me to interrupt his weekend on an emergency line for that. I told him what I thought about that and hung up. F that guy.

The majority of the medical staff at this hospital were excellent. The ER nurses--Jessica, Karen,…read moreTiffany, Cathy, and student nurse Lorena--were attentive, kind, and actually listened. Dr. Ryan Shanannan was thorough, professional, and reassuring. On 2 South, Mae, Crystal, and Paige were exceptional--caring, knowledgeable, and clearly dedicated to their patients. Doctors Kim and Dr. C were compassionate, and the surgeon and anesthesiologist communicated clearly and confidently. Here comes the problem!!!!! Now, unfortunately, the complete opposite experience: Elliot from the ER phone line. Rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. I asked a straightforward question about possibly speaking with Dr. Shanannan. Instead of listening, he repeated the same irrelevant line about not giving out the doctor's schedule--which I never asked for. It was either a lack of comprehension or a lack of effort--neither is acceptable. When I asked to leave a message, I was told "we don't do that." No explanation. No alternative. Just a dead end. When I confirmed his name, he responded with attitude. When I asked his role, he refused to answer altogether--which raises serious concerns about transparency. Patients shouldn't have to question who they're speaking to when trying to get help. For someone in a frontline role at a hospital, basic communication and professionalism should be the bare minimum. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and borderline disrespectful. It's disappointing, because one person like this can easily undermine the trust built by an otherwise excellent medical team. The hospital clearly has many outstanding professionals--Elliot is not one of them, clearly Elliot does not have human kindness.

Alisha (I believe is her name) is AMAZING and very efficient at handling documents that you need, we felt very needy when we needed documents filled out for my husband and I job since we were taking a leave for the surgery, she has done everything promptly. my only complaint is the main girl at the check in window who I believe also answers the phone, she is not nice at all, never greets you well either walking in or on the phone, always makes you feel like an inconvenience and once even hung up on my husband and her tone changed immediately once he called back and called her out for hanging up on him. Other then that the care at this location has been great for us! 10/10 on the care you receive

Because I had been in pain for so long, they scheduled me for surgery and within 3 weeks I was pain-free. The office is super busy and the ladies at the front work very hard. They're good at what they do and I'm grateful for them just as I am for Dr. Wagner and Dr. Westra, who were both in the OR during my surgery. The pain was so unbearable I began to believe that death would have been better than living the way I was. Life is beautiful when you're not struggling to live with the agony of constant pain. Thank you Ventura Neurosurgery for saving my life. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Life is beautiful again.

I finally approached the front desk and was told "the Doctor is running late". Clearly. However, no indication of how much longer we would need to wait. Once we sat in his office, the doctor scribbled notes on a piece of paper, turned his back to us, and then handed us this seriously unreadable "report" (for lack of a better word). A few days later, after all attempts to decipher said notes were unsuccessful, I called the office requesting type-written notes be mailed to us. Followed up with the Administrator today to hear "I told the doctor what you requested. You need to follow up if you don't receive those notes in the mail". Wow. Clearly this office is under the impression it's the patients job to 1) discern unreadable notes, or 2) request type-written notes and 3) follow up when said notes are not delivered. A truly stunning lack of follow through and patient care. Unbelievable.
