Horrible Service.. Master Scam Artists.. Rude.. Con Doctors.. Untrained Mechanics! First off, I am not of a complainer but here is what happened during my visit to this shady dealer. I have received a coupon for oil change that is advertising for a complete oil change for $79.99. I have called and the reception was polite, as I have booked my appointment for the oil change to be performed this morning. Please keep in your mind, I am familiar with this car, and I have performed similar services in other dealers in this state and in other state. The minute I walk in to the service department, right on my appointment time. No service advisor to be seen any where! Alright I have waited and I was greeted by the Service Advisor" Scam Artist JR" Named AARON. Yeah the scam has just began. I sat in his office and he started by saying you need spark plugs set. I explained that this car has only 45,000 miles, he proceeded by saying its turbo and it needs to be changed every 20,000 miles. Once I have informed him that BMW 328XI isn't turbo have said yes it will need spark plugs every 20,000 miles, despite BMW recommendation every 90,000. Among other services that is not due or needed ! Sure why not?? He then proceeded to recommend bunch of other services, that neither was showing up on the car I-drive nor It was recommended by any other dealer. Sure they would love to change everything under the hood, although the car is running perfect and nothing really is due to be changed. I guess this coupon for the oil change is the "Bait" for BMW drivers to bring their cars and get caught like fish with the bait. A very fast 15 minute passed and my service is done. Wow ! Express Service! I came to the dealer with half the oil showing on the I-Drive and yellow warning to change oil within 2000 miles. Sure I paid and took off. I then looked at the I-Drive where I was shocked to see nothing have changed. Still half way and yellow warning indicator is on. I came back and I have asked to speak to the service manager" No name badge" he is the service manager on the weekend. He should off have a badge the reads " Hello I am going to scam the hell of you!" Now we are talking to the " Dr.Scam Artist!" Actual PHD in Scamming! I am impressed! He said they have shorten the oil by half quart. Yea why not save $10 in oil cost. Its the least they can do! Sure Its showing half way so may be it was never changed. He then took the car and came back and said he top off it. Nothing changed in the car computer, as the opposite of every other oil change I have done. He started saying nonsense info like the spark plugs, the sensor and suggesting more services. The thermal feature before its going to change this imaginary oil change. Where in fact it's non complete service. Yeah then he threaten me to throw me out by calling the cops. Sure he did call the cops and nothing really happened other than them suggesting to call BMW North America and complain. Here is my advise... If you want to service your car... get scammed .. get robbed blind... get treated like you are a non human.. get escorted by cops.. and argue with non educated service thugs ! Then Go ahead and take your car to Patrick's BMW. If you are up for a world class Humiliation Experience then this is the PLACE! A perfect dealer for replacing non needed parts, charging money for nothing, may be sabotage your car .. Who knows? Welcome to the mobster dealer! You guys are non professionals and its truly a bad image for BMW! read more

Our experience with the BMW/Patrick Dealer Group has been extremely disappointing. It has been an exhausting and frustrating experience for us ever since we got his new 2009 BMW from the BMW/Patrick Dealer Group. Here are the problems we experienced with our brand new 2009 BMW 750LI: Traction Control: - We just found out from the dealership that our new 2009 BMW 750LI, the traction control does not work when the temperature drops under 40 degrees. That does not make sense to us. Isn't traction control most needed in the winter especially during the snow/icy road conditions? - We specifically asked about the traction control feature prior to getting the car. We were informed by the sales representative that our BMW 750LI has traction control and there's no problem. No one informed us that it would not work or it would lose its functions when the temperature drops below 40 degrees. - Our 2009 BMW 750LI is a rear wheel drive car. We thought with the traction control, it would be safe enough to drive in the winter in Chicago, IL. If we knew that the traction control does not work when the weather is below 40 degrees, we would not have considered getting this car or this model. We were misinformed. - We went to the VP of the BMW/Patrick Dealer Group with our sales rep. on 1/28. Both we and our sales rep were surprised to find out from the VP that the traction control problem was caused by the 19-inch sport tires. Our sales rep was surprised too. - Then they recommended to us to spend additional $2,640 for another set of winter tires and $300 each year for their service to switch the tires twice a year plus the storage. It's not a lot of money, but we feel that we were deceived into spending more money at this dealership. Navigation System: - Ever since we picked up our new BMW 750LI, we have been experiencing so much difficult times with its navigation system. It was not able to locate/map 50% of the addresses he entered. They are businesses/ doctor's office/residential addresses that have been around for over 10 years. We spent a lot of our valuable time on calls and visits to the BMW/Patrick Dealer Group for questions and support. We requested them to show us how to enter some addresses into BMW's navigation system. They were not able to enter those addresses nor to help us either. They tried, but they are not educated enough on their own products, in this case, BMW's navigation system. They just kept apologizing repeatedly. It's frustrating. - We never had any problems with our Lexus' navigation system. BMW's navigation system is out of date and is not user-friendly. It is completely not up to the standard for a luxury car or a luxury experience. It is another false advertisement for BMW to market their cars as luxury cars/experience. - - On 2/4, we took our BMW into the BMW/Patrick Dealer Group again. A group of them tried to enter a valid address, and they were not able to. On our way home, they called and informed us that they found the problem. Something's wrong with the navigation system in our car. It is defected. WOW, FINALLY!!! After wasting so much of our time and energy, they finally admitted there is a problem with the navigation system. Frustrating and this is a NEW BMW 750LI! read more

Having decided to buy a 2021 BMW X3 xdrive30i, we visited several dealerships in Michigan. However, in the end, we bought the vehicle from Patrcik BMW, Schaumberg, IL, simply because of their excellent customer service. Our sales person was Angelo Tramuta. As we lived in East Lansing, we were unable to visit the dealership during the purchase process. However, we were extremely impressed with Mr. Tramuta's work ethic as all of our emails were answered promptly without delay; his responses were very descriptive and clear and provided detailed answers to our questions. Mr. Tramuta was honest and reliable, open and transparent. He was very knowledgeable, super friendly and genuinely attentive, and always made sure our concerns and requests were addressed immediately. We never felt pressured through the purchasing process and feel that we were able to make an informed decision regarding our purchase thanks to Mr. Tramuta's guidance and support. John Connelly who is the Parts Manager at Patrick BMW also provided us with exceptional service. John is an expert in BMW parts, always extremely helpful, patient and goes out of his way to help his customers. We bought many accessories from Patrick BMW for our new BMW and John helped us a lot to make the right choices. Great service by Frankie Hughes at the parts department and also Greg Pikul of Patrick BMW genius. Everyone at the Patrick BMW Service Center are also extremely professional, caring and helpful. Overall, everyone at Patrck BMW are extremely professional, caring, kind and trustworthy. Due to our positive experience, we highly recommend Mr. Tramuta, and Patrick BMW to everyone. This is my second attempt purchasing at Patrick BMW. My first attempt was 10 years ago and the experience was such that I purchased my car from another dealership. I was apprehensive about approaching Patrick BMW this time around due to my prior experience, but I was proven wrong. Right from the get go to the time I took delivery of my car, it was a 100% smooth, no hassle, no stress experience. Angelo was my salesperson and he was fantastic. He was not the typical car salesman. He understood that I had done my research and worked with me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. He knew I had shopped around with other dealership and promptly beat their offers. There was no making me sit in his office for 20 minutes every time he goes back to "check with his GM" and wear me down. It was quick and he helped me build the car exactly how I wanted. He threw in the "extras" I asked for without hesitation to make the deal. Then it was simply waiting for BMW to build me my car. Angelo kept me informed about the build progress every step of the way. Then when the car arrived (and it was time to pay up!) it was even smoother. Even the finance guy to whom I had to sign my life away was a very stress free experience. Angelo had made sure all the paper work had been done ahead of time and all it took was 5 minutes to get everything done. Then it was simply checking out the car, getting the plates transferred from my trade-in, learning about the features from the BMW Genius and driving the car home. I have to say this is the best car buying experience I have had. Keep up the good work Angelo and Team Patrick BMW! Highly recommend these guys. read more

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Patrick BMW and my exceptional salesman, Salvo Lazzara. After searching nationwide and dealing with less-than-ideal experiences at several BMW dealerships, I finally found the perfect experience here. Despite having two BMW dealerships closer to me in Kansas City, I chose to fly to Chicago to purchase my new BMW from Patrick BMW--and it was absolutely worth it! Salvo went above and beyond to make the process smooth and enjoyable. He answered all my questions thoroughly, sent detailed photos, and provided a transparent out-the-door price without the frustrating runaround or unnecessary markups I encountered at other dealerships. The buying process was seamless, and they even offered a session with a BMW technical technician who walked me through the setup and operation of all the vehicle's advanced technology features. This personalized attention made a significant difference and ensured I felt confident driving my new car home. I wholeheartedly recommend Salvo Lazzara and Patrick BMW in Schaumburg, Illinois. Their commitment to honesty, professionalism, and exceptional customer service sets them apart from other dealerships. If you're looking for a seamless and enjoyable car-buying experience, Patrick BMW is the place to go. Thank you, Salvo, and the entire team, for making this such a memorable purchase! read more

I recently purchased a vehicle here and had the pleasure of working with William Wells as my sales associate. After totaling my previous car, I was overwhelmed with the stress of dealing with insurance and salvage yards. The thought of buying a new car felt like just another hassle on my plate. Then I met Will. From the start, he went above and beyond to make the experience smooth and stress-free. He was prompt, organized, and had everything ready for me and my 5-year-old daughter when we arrived. I had to wait for my insurance check to come through, and during that time, Will stayed in consistent contact. He even came in on his day off to ensure I didn't have to pay for an extra day on my rental car. While waiting to meet with the finance department, my daughter and I were outside the dealership picking flowers to pass the time. Will texted me to let me know we were almost ready to go in. I replied, "No worries, we're picking flowers." When we walked in, he surprised my daughter with a small bouquet and said, "I heard you like flowers--here are some more!" I couldn't wipe the smile off her face, and honestly, mine either. The world needs more people like Will. He was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about making this experience a positive one. I'm incredibly grateful to have met him and to have had his help through such a difficult time read more

Let me start by saying this: if there were a gold standard for automotive service, Matt Page and Josh Paez at BMW would be the blueprint. I've been to multiple BMW dealerships over the years, and none even come close to the level of care, professionalism, and dedication I've experienced here. Matt Page, the service manager, is nothing short of phenomenal. He runs the service department like a well-oiled machine, but what truly sets him apart is how much he genuinely cares about his customers. You're not just a number to him--he makes sure you feel heard, respected, and taken care of every single time. And then there's Josh Paez--my go-to service advisor and an absolute rock star. He's sharp, responsive, and always one step ahead. Whether it's a routine service or something more complex, he keeps me informed and at ease throughout the entire process. I trust him implicitly with my car, and that says a lot. Together, Matt Page and Josh Paez have created something rare in the automotive world: a place where excellence isn't just expected--it's the norm. This isn't just the best BMW service center I've been to. It's the best dealership experience I've ever had, period. If you want to experience what true customer care feels like, go see Matt Page and Josh Paez. They don't just raise the bar--they are the ba read more

A great experience with all members of the Patrick BMW team! I recently bought a new 2019 BMW and returned a 2016 BMW end of lease vehicle at Patrick BMW. It was a great experience across the board! I got a good deal on my new vehicle from my client advisor Brian Parker. He's very easy to work with and very trustworthy. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the product and process for end of lease turn in and new car order. No high pressure sales tactics, just straight forward discussion and once we landed on a price that was the final price-no b.s. I will definitely make the trip from the city out to Patrick BMW in Schaumburg for my next car! He also arranged to get me a loaner vehicle at no charge for the several week period until my custom ordered BMW from Germany was available for pickup. Matt Page from the service department performed the end of lease inspection on the end of lease vehicle I turned in and was an absolute pleasure to deal with and exceeded my expectations by promptily emailing me the post inspection result of the multipoint inspection. It's clear Patrick BMW and all staff I worked with really value the customer relationship and aim to earn your repeat business-they definitely have earned mine! read more

I drove from Ohio to get a specific car they had in stock, got a hotel and picked the car up the next day. Cars being cars, this one had some issues. I made it back to Ohio and the car had several lights on the dashboard. I reached out to Don, my salesperson and he got management involved, and to my surprise they said, bring it back and we will find something else. So the next weekend I drove back up, they even offered to pay for my room. I told them that is not necessary. I got back up there Friday night and was there first thing Saturday morning, we had chosen a car already and the paperwork was ready to go. The new car is amazing, and I could not be happier. This was not something they had to do. I would like to thank Don and Alan, as well as the general manager. They made this situation very easy. Most dealerships would have said "sorry" you bought the car already. They were very accommodating. This is a dealer that stepped up to the plate and took care of the customer! If you are looking for a new car and nervous about the dealer, do not feel that way about Patrick BMW. They are a great group of professionals that stepped up to the plate when needed. I thank you all the way from Ohio! Stellar job gentlemen! read more

I have been going to Patrick BMW for 20 years, I still have my 2004 x3 which still in great shape 180K miles and that car still going strong, this was the first year that I actually had to spend some money on it, but not so much. I also purchase an 2014 x1 which unfortunately was crashed and it was exchange for a 2019 X3 which I love, amazing, and for Christmas I purchase a 2024 X1 for my wife, I love that car, it's awesome. Elmir K, is my sales person, he is amazing, not only the top level of service, he is always so attentive, great personality and it's not a pushy person. he went the extra mile to pick me up at my house when I took my car for service and paid for my uber to take me home, which he did not have to do that, great person to have a conversation with, overall, I recommend Elmir if you are looking for a top sales person and a great conversation. also the entire team at the dealer is great, from the reception to the amazing tech team, very detail, organized, and amazing attitudes, Basil the manager is great, Amazing team. I get a loaner right away when I take my car for the regular maintenance. my Name is Byron R. and I will keep going there all the time. read more

The Service Department at Patrick BMW is outstanding! They are always extremely polite, professional, and very helpful, but I recently had an experience in which my BMW was 'rejected' from emission testing because I had recently had work done on the car which reset the car's systems and didn't allow for proper testing to be completed. Of course, I didn't know that was why the car was 'rejected' so I drove into Patrick's Service Department in full panic mode and spoke with Bill, the Service Manager. He very calmly and professionally explained what was going on, suggested I drive the car a bit more before attempting testing again, and even offered to accompany me to the test site to have it retested if need be. Of course, it passed with flying colors the next time I took it to be tested. It may sound like a simple thing, but what is important to note is that this is the level of service that Patrick BMW ALWAYS provides - without fail. In fact, there are times when I wonder if my next car will be a BMW or not -- but one trip into the Service Department at Patrick BMW reminds me of exactly why it will be a BMW -- and will be purchased from Patrick. read more

I recently purchased a used Porsche from Patrick BMW. I found the car on the internet and the entire transaction was done by phone and electronic document sharing. The salesperson, Terry Shoemaker I worked with was honest, responsive and extremely helpful. I bought the car sight unseen. When it arrived at my home 900 miles from the dealership there were a few details about the interior that I had anticipated but could not accurately discern from the many photos I reviewed. I discussed my concerns with the General Manager, Mr. Enzo Costa. He acknowledged that photos sometimes cannot not reveal all level of detail and then agreed to compensate me for what I had believed were options on the car. I was treated with respect by a management team willing to listen and respond to a customer's concerns. Their professional manner in working with me was the sign of a quality dealership that cares about its customers and its reputation. In closing, if a consumer finds a car listed by Patrick BMW over the internet, they should feel confident that distance should not dissuade them from purchasing from this organization. I would do it again!! read more

The best car buying experience ever! Our Sales Associate was Kristin Mlsna, she was amazing, we are from out of town but interested in a few cars, she had emailed all the information I needed on the cars I was looking for, there were several I was interested in, she sent fact sheets with options so that I could compare the options. Once I had my choices narrowed down, we made the drive to the dealership. When we arrived Kristin had the cars we were interested in up front and waiting for us to test drive. Kristin already knew the price range and options I was there for. I have purchased many cars and they made it the easiest and smoothest transaction ever! Once we had chosen our vehicle, while it was being prepped to be taken home, they took us to the same vehicle and gave us a full blown tutorial on all options on the outside and what they do and then showed us how all the options on the inside worked and even helped us set up our Mini once it was done, that was amazing. Thank you Kristin Mlsna and Patrick Mini for a wonderful car buying experience, I would definitely buy another car from this dealship! read more

First time reviewer, so this definitely left a great impression. Reading other reviews, I clearly wasn't the only one. But on that October day I clearly was the only one out looking at cars while the Cubbies were playing their way into the history books. I've bought 4 BMWs in my lifetime and each was a positive experience, but this set the standard. Meet Jen - my salesperson that made me feel like I had just made a friend. It literally felt like a friend - someone who knew me. Here's the thing - she listened, listened to what I wanted, what I didn't want and managed to inject a level of enthusiasm that I still enjoy today (as she perfectly captured in a pic next to my new X5). Having shopped around a bit, I was perfectly happy walking out without a sale. The single reason that didn't happen was Jennifer. She is the salt of the earth person you want on the other side of the desk and puts care into building a customer relationship. One of the most important aspects of a brand is the people who represent it. In the case of BMW, she's the ultimate selling machine (and looks great, too!) read more

We had an exceptional experience at Patrick BMW dealership in Schaumburg , thanks to both Brian Parker and Salvo Lazzara. From the moment we walked in, Brian made us feel welcomed with his professionalism, transparency, and genuine care. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and set the tone for a smooth, stress-free experience. What really stood out was how Brian personally introduced us to Salvo Lazzara, ensuring we were in great hands every step of the way. Salvo continued that same level of outstanding service--knowledgeable, attentive, and truly committed to making sure we found the perfect vehicle. Together, Brian and Salvo made the entire buying process seamless, enjoyable, and completely pressure-free. Their teamwork, honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set this dealership apart. If you're looking for a top-tier car buying experience, I highly recommend working with Brian Parker and Salvo Lazzara. This is exactly how car buying should be done. Worst buying experience: Do not let sales managers bully you into buying/leasing vehicle from them! Mr. Enzo is one of the most unprofessional sales managers I've ever dealt with. I requested specific information from Mr. Enzo such as the money factor, residual, and rebates, etc. When I pointed out that the money factor was much higher than what other dealers were offering. Mr. Enzo had no valid points regarding the increased money factor rate, however, his attitude was less than desirable. I was there to lease a vehicle, which requires negotiations (obviously). Once I asked Mr. Enzo to apply the BMW's August month's money factor, it turned into an aggressive, rude, sales tactic of "I don't need to sell this car to you because I'm going to make more money selling it to someone else." It was a question, not a negotiation. I was left speechless and once he said "thank you" after his rant. There's a level of professionalism we expect from salesmen and especially from sales manager from a high-end luxury brand. read more

My Aunt and I went here last weekend to look for a new car for her. Because I love cars, she asked me to help guide her through the sales process. So I came down from Wisconsin to help her out. She wasn't sure of the right questions to ask and felt intimidated going alone. The sales associate was personable, helpful, not intimidating at all. We were very impressed with the service we received. Everything was explained to us in a way that both my Aunt and I were able to understand and all my questions were answered. The Sales Manager even came in and helped find the right car for my Aunt's budget and she got everything she was looking for. She will be coming back to take the delivery of the car in the next week. I highly recommend coming here for both new cars and great service in general. I am confident when my Aunt comes back for service work on her new car she will be treated right. It puts my mind at ease that I won't have to worry about her getting swindled. read more

I was shopping around for a vehicle for a few days a couple of weeks ago and then stopped into Patrick BMW and was greeted by Jennifer N. She instantly made us feel very welcome and brought us into her office to take a look at their inventory. She made the whole process very easy and was looking out for our best interest 100% throughout the time we worked with her. We came in late in the evening the first visit so returned again a couple of days later. I was able to get a great CPO x3 with her help and after getting the vehicle, she makes sure to follow up with me to see if I'm satisfied or need anything else with the car! Jennifer does a stellar job with her clients. I can tell she genuinely cares about the people she works with. Everyone I have been faced with at Patrick has been great! Everyone is always incredibly helpful and makes sure people are satisfied with their services. It's as good as it gets and they provide a great experience for all! read more

I just purchased a vehicle from Patrick and Angelo Tramuta was by salesman/advisor. He patiently talked me through my first choice of vehicle, showed me other vehicle options so I would have multiple choices to evaluate and make my decision. He never rushed me even when I told him I had to go see a similar vehicle at another dealership prior to making my choice. Finally when I decided to buy at Patrick he went all out to make me comfortable and explain everything into detail and make my experience awesome. He met all my requests on the vehicle and on time too when I picked up. If you go to Patrick you got to meet Angelo! Too great of a guy and hilariously funny too. Thanks Angelo! I would be remiss if I do not shout out Josh at the service desk who I inundated with so many questions over multiple days after the purchase. He patiently and with a great attitude answered all my questions. Thanks Josh! read more
