Got the sisig, popcorn chicken, and palabok. The rice that came with the sisig was way too sticky and wet, and the pork was very dry and chewy. The sauce helped. The palabok was a little better but the noodles were very skinny, so if you're expecting thick noodles like typical palabok, this might not satisfy your craving. It also tasted a little on the bland side. The popcorn chicken was good! Not as crispy, but the flavors hit. For dessert we got the halo halo, and honestly, if you come just for that, it's worth it. Calamansi lemonade always hits the spot as well. The restaurant is very home-y and cozy. It's nice to have a Filipino spot uptown!

Finally, this area has decent casual Filipino food. Dropped in for dinner with my sister and nephew. You can smell what's cooking from the outside and boy does it smell good. The 3 of us ate family style and shared everything. We started off with the lumpia which was fire. The dipping sauce tasted like banana ketchup. Their chicharon was pork belly style, not fried fat which is the one we're used to. I didn't love it, but it was enjoyable. Their laing was my favorite out of everything we got cos it tasted like home. Their sisig was tasty and not oily like the ones you get in the Philippines. Ended with the chicken inasal. Every dish comes with rice - plain or garlic. Your choice. Ended with the ube sansrival. Not sure if getting the regular would've made a difference, but the bottom had zero crunch. Took one star away because the service was kinda off towards the end. It took us a while to pay cos the lady at the front was busy helping tidy up. The ventilation here is wild. We all smelled like we were just at kbbq.

Wow ! Joy and Hannah you guys were so amazing ! I was so shy coming here for the first time because I never had Philippine dishes and you made me so comfortable by suggesting and even making sure I knew what I wanted to order! Thank you so much the suggestions and the attention to my table was great I will for sure see you ladies next time because this was literally one of my favorite dining experiences in a minute! Thank you again and I hope those who are unsure just go in ! The atmosphere the service. And care was 10/10 and the food was the cherry on top !!!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday and was craving for Filipino food. Patok was the perfect place. Nice ambiance with beautiful Filipino decor, service was good, and food was yummy. We ordered pork lumpia which is always a favorite. The chicken bao bun was ok, but my friend enjoyed it. Lechon kawali and chicken inasal were delicious and is a must try if you haven't had Filipino food. Parking can be difficult, might be easier by subway. I'll definitely come back for dessert and try the halo-halo.

    Pork sisig

Patok na Patok! As a Fil-Am who grew up on this food, I gotta say Patok by Rach hits that sweet spot. The Appetizer Sampler was a perfect kickoff--lumpia crispy like it should be, BBQ skewers with that smoky-tamis flavor I remember from family parties, and pancit that didn't feel heavy but still brought all the comfort. The Pork Sisig? Man... this is where they show the magic. Chopped just right, sizzling hot, with that kick of calamansi and spice--but not so hardcore that it scares off first-timers. It's the kind of sisig I can bring my non-Filipino friends to try and they'll get it immediately. That balance between authentic lutong-bahay flavor and being super approachable is not easy, pero nailed na nailed dito. And the Ube Cake to end it--fluffy, creamy, not overly sweet. A perfect panghimagas that feels proudly Filipino but still universally craveable. Chef Rach clearly knows how to respect the roots while making it accessible for everyone here in NYC. This place is exactly what Filipino food in America should be: welcoming, flavorful, and patok sa lahat.

I stopped by here for lunch not long after this place first opened. It is a nice restaurant with lovely ambiance, serving Filipino cuisine. Of course I had to order the Pork Lumpia and I chose the Sweet Pork dish, served with garlic rice and egg. The lumpia was delicious and oh so crispy with tons of flavorful pork filling. The entree was beautifully plated, with plenty of each ingredient. The pork was slightly charred, succulent, juicy, and wonderfully well seasoned. I also enjoyed the garlic rice, which was cooked perfectly and full of garlic taste. The fried egg had a runny yolk, and I usually prefer completely cooked, but didn't mind in this instance, as it paired so nicely with the rice. There was a sweet sauce, as well as pickled veggies, which were crunchy and added a fresh element. Service was great. The lady at the counter was welcoming and helpful with the menu. Also, the pricing was reasonable. I would be open to returning at some point, but would like to see a more varied and larger menu.

We had the most wonderful mothers day kamayan. When we arrived the table was set and was so gorgeous. The food was amazing and bursting with flavor. They were wonderfully attentive and warm. Would absolutely go back a thousand times. An absolute gem of a restaurant. SALAMAT!

Tosilog Brunch Platter (sweet pork, rice and an egg) to go!

So happy to have this Filipino joint in the neighborhood! They have been open at this location for a short period of time and still figuring some stuff out. For instance, my food (Tosilog) was absolutely delicious, but the temperature was off (rice was cold, pork was warm ish). I arrived when they were packaging my food and walked only two blocks before consumption. Despite this I am giving Patok by Rach five stars because every new business deserves grace and I thoroughly enjoyed this quality meal--the sweet pork was finger licking good. "Plating" even for the takeout order was lovely (my photo doesn't do it justice as I had already dug in). I am very much looking forward to going back for lumpia and other items on the menu. Though pork is all over the menu, they have vegetarian options. I liked the feel and decor of the restaurant; there was a plenty of sunlight with natural elements and good amount of seating. Ordering on their website was a breeze. Staff was very nice. Wishing Patok by Rach much success in Inwood!

Was staying at my friend's in Inwood and decided to try Patok. After all, a Filipino resto in Inwood is somewhat unexpected. I really would love to support them but honestly, I was underwhelmed. I think they have potential but as it is, I won't exactly be recommending them to friends just yet.

Visited Patok while on a visit to NY for a few days. Ordered food for takeout. Tried the Lechón Kawali and the Calamansi juice which was a lemon lime drink. The Lechón Kawali was interesting. The chicharrón was quite crunchy. It lacked some flavor but with the sauces provided, good flavor was added. I probably would have wished that the Lechón was a little smooth that way the meat would be a little tender and hold some juice with the tenderness. The Calamansi juice was refreshing. Pretty good food overall. The place is a nice little hole-in-the-wall that can't go unnoticed with some good service.

Super good Filipino food! We got the eggplant adobo, bbq pork (what an amazing surprise - crispy, mouth watering, delicious), tokwa't baboy (pork belly and tofu in vinegar sauce) and the salted egg and tomato. Home runs all! Don't sleep on the calamansj and mango juices either. Overall: A++!!!

Came last night to have dinner with a friend and it did not disappoint! Filipino food finally came to Inwood and we can not be more delighted. The restaurant is welcoming and warm. To start i ordered the pork lumpia delish and crispy. For my main I ordered liempo which was served with white rice and a pickled cucumber/onion small salad. So tasty and perfectly cooked! My friend had the chicken inasal which he really enjoyed as well. Staff were friendly and attentive - and gave us recommendations as well. Excited to visit again soon and explore the rest of the menu!

Do a takeout of spring rolls lumpia. Indulge. Lots of pork here. Nice people. Wish they sold more takeout desserts.

I arrived at 2pm on a weekday and the guy was doing a deep clean while I ate my sandwich. Love this. I got The Emma - no clue how they arrived at this name. It's one of their more spicy steak sandwiches and includes kimchi and Broccoli rabe - absolutely one of the most memorable sandwiches I've consumed. While I was there - a food blogger came in and shit a video. This place is no secret. My only "issue" is that the food is expensive. I TOTALLY get they are using high end ingredients - organics - locally sourced - etc. those items are not cheap. But my sandwich was normal sized - no pickle or any add on item - and I ate in but was not offered a plate or a fork. It's a deli. But for $20+, I can't eat here every day or even multiple times a week. Like NYC, it ain't for everyone and it ain't cheap. But I'll be back!

Everything tasted fresh, and the vinaigrette paired perfectly without being too heavy. The portion was super filling, which I always appreciate when it comes to salads. It's a great spot if you're looking for something fresh, satisfying, and easy--especially on a nice sunny day when you can sit back and enjoy the view. Definitely a place I'd come back to for salads, wraps, or sandwiches
