Do not go here - the bad reviews are accurate. They treat you like an imposition. My daughter went they did not do vitals, or even an exam. They basically said to wait it out without having ascertained why she was even there. Waste of time - they do not care if you are sick. Sadie is such a horrific person at the front desk. When I walked in she looked directly at me but continued to have her personal conversation with her coworker. Then, taking personal phone calls on speaker with her mom about coworker drama in the waiting area and not able to get medications sorted. Don't go here she's horrible and a lying b**** claims your name is misspelled what is your job as the front desk agent when you have a DL. Told me my name was wrong in the system even though last week when I went my medications were sent no problem at all. During my back and forth she hung the phone up on me as she was speaking over me and I was speaking and she claimed I was yelling at her lol (which btw I was explaining what the pharmacy had just told me and she was reiterating that it wasn't there fault cuz why would it be right lol). Also, earlier in that back and forth as she got on the phone I heard her go hold on sweetie like she was on a personal call while answering the work phone, or had a child there with her, not sure which is more unprofessional for an environment that is supposed to be HIPAA compliant, I don't believe family members of providers or front desk agents have the right to be on the phone while taking a call to a patient, I don't think being family qualifies you to release of PHI. Pathetic and feel sorry for her honestly, must be a miserable life that you gotta call your mom at 3 pm as a GROWN woman to share work drama, and be horrific to sick people when you work at a clinic. read more

I saw the reviews- of ALL the urgent care reviews near our hotel- and expected the worst. I was pleasantly surprised by the office, staff, and physician assistant. We're travelling from the West Coast and booked an appointment first thing Sunday morning for my son's painful ear infection. We were able to do most of the pre-registration online (a nice feature). The site is a little jenky on mobile...the phone number field kept doing bizarre formatting and throwing an error. Once I got that submitted, we headed over and no one was waiting. After about 10 minutes, we were seen by Savannah, the Physician's Assistant. She was thorough, patient, and kind when she explained what was going on and how it should be treated. I sincerely hope never to have to bring him back to urgent care :-) , but if I did, I wouldn't stress at all about going to this office. Not sure why it was so low in rating. read more

If I could give less stars I would. I came for stitches a few weeks ago and it took almost 3 hours for them to stitch 2 minimal cuts. The white woman with glasses literally does not know what she is doing but is training other students. I told her to try and speed up because I had somewhere to be and she was super passive aggressive for no reason. Had to come back and get my bf hand stitched and it was the same lady. She said that he couldn't get stitches and she was just going to clean it - but before we came in she said it needed stitches (it was a pretty bad cut). Then gave misinformation saying to come back for stitches in 3-4 days (we were told you can't get stitches after a few days of a wound open). Don't come here - it's the closest to campus but I'd suggest to just make the drive to go somewhere else. read more

Man this place is horrible. I usually go out of my way to the patients first away from the university, but today I didn't have that luxury due to a muscle spasm. I arrived to this location and while I understand Covid-19 has implemented some guidelines that need to be followed, I was completely unaware that Patients First no longer accepts walk-ins for non-Covid related illnesses. After I informed the receptionist of my muscle spasm, she heaved a deep sigh and rolled her eyes. She proceeded to tell me I would need to wait in my car until someone could come see me. I have experienced sciatica countless times and know exactly what a muscle spasm is, a simple muscle relaxers would have provided relief or a simple glance at my medical records with Patients First would have displayed my reoccurring illness. It seems that this pandemic has made all other illnesses and ailments nonexistent to your employers and I hope change will be implemented. Thankfully, this experience isn't universal to all Patients First, just this one and their inconsiderate, insensitive receptionists. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I took my sister here last weekend because she felt dizzy, lethargic and nauseous. Upon arrival, we were asked to sign in and wait even though we had an appointment. A few minutes later, they asked us to pay before we were even seen. After waiting two hours, my sister was seen by a doctor who swabbed her for the flu. The test came back negative, but this doctor prescribed her Tamiflu anyway because she "seemed like she had the flu". I'm not a doctor, but where is the logic there? Long story short, my sister went to the ER two days later and was admitted to CRMC for a DOUBLE KIDNEY INFECTION! She had sepsis and almost died due to the carelessness and negligence of this place. Today, I heard of another girl who went for pain in her hips and was prescribed muscle relaxers by the doc. Two days later, just like my sister, she was admitted to the hospital and needed to have major hip surgery and two screws for hairline fractures. DON'T GO HERE! This place is a scam and could seriously hurt you. Wish I could sue. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I surely would. These people are careless and unprofessional. My mom had to be seen and her and my dad were visiting. We waited for 2.5 hrs to see someone with no care for her wellbeing. This place should be SHUT DOWN. Seriously. Don't believe me? Go see for yourself. Also, while we waited, I went to and came back from Walgreens in game day traffic. If that doesn't put how LONG this wait was in perspective idk what will. The receptionist was very kind, but overall my experience was not good. I was a walk in and had to wait for an hour and a half (granted that day was busy so the wait didn't bother me too much). I went in because my head had been itchy for a few weeks and I wanted to be checked for lice. The doctor checked my head and told me I didn't, but that I was just allergic to my shampoo. I bought new shampoo and went home. Two weeks later I was still itchy and went to a lice professional in Tally. She confirmed I did have lice and most likely had it during my visit to patients first. My experience was not very helpful and could have saved me a lot of time if they had actually checked correctly. read more

The doctors and nurses were great but the receptionist has a terrible attitude problem and lacks competence to do her job properly. She arrived 15 min late to work meaning the doors didn't open until she got there and there was a line of people waiting outside the building. Many of my friends have visited this location and experienced the same issues with the receptionist. Not sure why she is still working there. Gives the whole place a bad reputation and turns potential customers away after the first visit. read more

Writing this as I experience it, so far I've been here for about 45 minutes I'm just finishing my registration and there was only two people ahead of me when I arrived. It's clear that it doesn't matter if you booked an appointment before you arrived because I still waited behind walk in patients. The receptionist is openly criticizing patients who are not willing to wait to have the only one receptionist whom seems incapable of multi tasking. Receptionist just speaking to a person being checked in behind said "I hope you get prescribed the cough medicine I got, it's great I almost got addicted." Still waiting to get called and over an hour after I arrived I have made my way to the back, now they're taking my weight in a closet literally the room is the size of a walk in closet. My visit with the doctor went much better the back of house service is quick and precise! But I have to still give a one star just because how awful the front desk is. read more

i went to this doctor and got some antibodies i had no way to contact to the doctor so i called through the front office to a recepshonist who put me on hold without saying anything, doesnt answer the phone, and isnt even helpful. What I mean by not helpful is that I called them to ask to make an appointment through the phone like last time and she said she cant do that and things can change which is bullshit its been 3 weeks... read more

Side note you can't even walk into the place they literally treat u from ur car even if you don't have COVID symptoms. Seriously not to mention It took me over 45 minutes to get checked in (not treated just checked in). This patients first opens at 8:00am I was there at 7:55 and was the only person there yet I didn't even see a nurse until 9:00. Hands down the worst medical care I've ever witnessed. Doctors and nurses seem careless in all aspects. They were not able to come to a diagnosis despite having a 101 degree fever and actually having strep throat. Doctor didn't prescribe any medications and was told to eat a popsicle and hope you feel better. I know this is a new location but that should not lower the quality of medical attention given.
