First time really needing any kind of primary care or serious surgery. I went to HCA ER and was told to make a visit here for my Patellar Tendon Rupture. I sighed in and waited a little bit, there was a lot of people there on a Monday at 8:30am. I was finally called to be evaluated. I ended up getting together with Dr. Jordan Walters and proceeded to make quick plans for surgery that same week. This was my first surgery ever and I was very curious about the entire process of everyone's jobs so everyone was pretty nice to talk to about what was going to happen. I had my surgery at their older TOC building with physical therapy on the left side and the surgeries taking place on the right side. Overall, I'm one week post op recovering now and already have my leg at 40% ROM with no pain. This is definitely an experience. read more

TOC Now - Orthopedists Near Me - Tallahassee, Florida

My spouse had a scheduled appointment today just to review an MRI. As of now, we are still in the waiting room. Pathetic.

In and out with it 60min...I don't think that I is bad at all for a Walk-In clinic. Staff is overall pretty friendly. The guy at the front desk could have been nicer but I assume he hasn't had his coffee yet as it was early in the morning. Apparently he has a system where you sign in, sit down till called and than tell why you are there. And pay of course. I wasn't even ask if my data are still correct and realized way later that my address was the old one. Anyways, the system probably makes sense in the way as people who are injured or hurt most likely don't want to wait in line but who is suppose to know when you are not a regular. Telling one how "the system" works May could have been done a tick friendlier or nicer. But again, he probably hasn't had his coffee. Everybody else was very friendly, smiled, showed great bedside manner. read more

From the moment I walked in the door. The receptionist was so kind and saw I was in pain and alone with my 2 year old. She offered him candy, if that was ok with me, and goldfish. The PA Kimberly Mendoza was very professional and quick to assess my needs. She didn't take my pain and complaints lightly. The X-ray showed some things that led her to get an MRI ordered. She informed me that an MRI could take a while to get approval but that she would put a stat order in for insurance. Before I left her office she gave me something for pain because she could see how bad I was hurting. The same day I received a call from her office that the MRI got approved. Went and had that done the next day. Within one day Kimberly called me to give me results and wanted me to come in to see another doctor in the office. I was scheduled to be seen the next day they were open and saw Dr. Andrew Dec. He also was amazing, went over all the MRI results with us. Sat down and gave me my options on what I could do and answered all questions. I needed once again approval for a steroid injection in which he said it could take a week but that he would try and get it stat as well. After hours the doctor personally called me to tell me that it got approved and he got me on his schedule the next day for the injection. During the procedure he was professional and walked me through each step along with the X-ray tech, who we can't forget about, who was also amazing in making sure I was doing ok throughout the entire thing. I will recommend this place and these doctors to anyone as they listened to my complaints,took my pain seriously and were very professional. Bedside manner 100%. Nothing but good things to say. I think I may have checked the TOC Tallahassee location but I was seen at the Panama city fl location. read more

Medicine in the deep south - Went in for a simple cortisone shot and waited an hour. After an hour wait they said, "oh no one told you we dont know how to mess with any rib injuries". I clearly described I had swelling around the ribs and wanted a shot on arrival. their time is worth everything and your is worth nothing. This was after they took the credit card of course. Fighting now to get that charged back. Also, 50% of employees not wearing mask and I would venture a guess a majority have not been vaccinated. read more

The staff at TOC Now was helpful, until they realized that my insurance has a high deductible. Suddenly, my broken foot is not something they can fit in. They've ignored my patient portal messages, and my voicemails requesting a follow up appointment. When I finally actually got in contact with someone, they told me that they don't take my insurance. It's BCBS. Yes. You do. The claims have been processed, too, which would not happen if they were not in network. I hope for Tallahassee's sake we get another ortho, because this team is the worst. read more

Went to toc today and had great experience. Short wait time. Quick and easy paperwork. But most important a great doctor.
