    Pork Momo

I was in the neighborhood and stopped in at Pathway Momo in the SW (8855 Macleod Trail). I've never had momo or Nepalese food before, and I was blown away! I was on my own so I only got to try one kind, but l'm absolutely brining my family here to try a variety of dishes. The space was modest, but clean. The staff were friendly, and the plain pork momos were incredible! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

This was an excellent place to try out Nepalese food. Its in an industrial part of town near the airport but remains busy with all local clientele. We were the only diners who were new to this type of food. We took the advise of the owner and tried the Mixed platter of Momo, (chicken, pork and Vegetarian). They were all great and the sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The chicken chow mien was very flavorful with moist well seasoned chicken and mildly spice was fine for us. Including a cup of Nepalese tea the whole meal was $40. We would gladly go back anytime.

This was my first time trying Momos! The sauce almost tastes like a curry cream sauce, with a little spice. The momo themselves have a thick chewy skin with a pork chive filling. Kind of reminds me of a dumpling. We did take out and they were hot and fresh. Would order again!

So after passing by this place a few times on my way to and fro from NE Costco, finally turned in today at 12 Noon. I might be doubling up on my review, but needed to add the picture of the amazing momos. I went in and asked the very friendly man behind the counter what he recommended and he said to try the assortment. 5 Chicken, 5 Pork, 5 Veggie. They were so delicious I stuffed 4 in my face before I took the picture below. There was one with just a hint of curry, another with the right amount of spice/bite. And the veggie was was very done, moist and pretty delicious. 15 for $15. I will definitely be back to try other menu items as well as try these momos deep fried. Lots of space to dine in, lots of parking. Service was friendly. Go and try these excellent momos.

We stayed near Pathways Burgers & Momos during our visit to Calgary and were glad we got a chance to try out their food. We ordered take out a couple of times when we needed a quick meal. The restaurant owners are so friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed their food very much. We tried their fried Momos and Thukpa, burgers and salad. They Momos were delicious with a dipping sauce, the Thukpa had a tasty broth with a great combination of spices and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The food here from the salads to burgers to noodles are fresh and satisfying. Would definitely come here again when we're in town.

Best Momo in Canada! I grew up in Hong Kong eating Nepalese Momos, this is super legit! Had the chili Momo's and jhol Momo's , flavors of the filling and sauce is perfect! The owner who is super nice, said he's going to bring more Nepalese dishes to the menu. Can't wait!

Finally, i found the place to satiate my all time craving for momos and I have become a huge fan of their nepali momos. Being a traditional delicacy of nepal, they made the momos so authentically that every time you have the momos, you can't get enough of them. I have tried both chicken and veggie momos and both are best at their level. In case you don't want to team up momos with momo sauce which is spicy, try for chipotle sauce. Portion size is good enough and liked their packaging of food whick keeps the food warm. Food is genuinly priced and worth the amount spent.

    Thukpa Nepal Noodle Soup.

Great tasting food. I definitely will recommend this restaurant. They offer a no spice option if hot spices is an issue.

This place comes highly recommended for their dosas (which I had never heard of) so we both ordered the butter chicken dosa and a coconut rice. We were both blown away by our meals! The presentation is really fun, the flavour was mind blowing, and we had more than enough to eat for an excellent price. We got to meet the chef afterward, who was incredibly friendly and told us about how dosas are made and what spices he uses. The decor may be a little wacky, but I didn't really care. Our server wasn't very helpful in giving any pointers about what we should order, but luckily you now have this review to help you! The downside was we had a bit of a wait because they were short handed in the kitchen. However, the chef was very gracious and the food was worth the wait. Come a little early if you're starving.

Inside the decor is kind of tiki meets outdoor park, with little fake birds and plants adorning the walls, music and bird song matches the decor. Do not think that the kitschy decor will detract or diminish the food experience....!!!! The restaurant is clean and will definitely give diners lots to talk about too. The food is delicious and portions are good. The dosa masala is huge, crisp and very good. We had onion pakora, chili paratha and a chicken biriyani to round out our dinner. I could have absolutely gourged myself and not left anything but we took leftovers home which I was super excited to eat. Prices are reasonable and will make this one of my go to spots for Indian food for sure! Spicing is good and flavours are really very good. There is lots of parking and honestly I'm planning another visit sooner rather than later. Service is a little timid but very friendly. Go visit them you won't be disappointed!!!

They should provide a 2nd sauce. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, which came with white steamed rice which we liked since most places you have to order rice separately, but the cubes of pork were so small, lean and quite dry and the carrots tasted old. We ordered the phingsha which was overpriced for what it was. Portion size was very small, the beef was dry and chewy. We would like to come back and try some other items, but we weren't overly impressed with our choices other than the chicken momos

Our food was prepared quickly (20 minutes), packed efficiently(i.e. remained hot and intact in their containers without any leakage), and was ready for hubby to pick up when he arrived. #3. Momo Platter($16): these are definitely our favourites(we prefer them steamed)! The platter includes 4 beef, 2 vegetable, and 2 tofu momos that should be eaten with their homemade chili oil sauce. #25. Chicken Gyathuk($14): this is like a chicken ramen with bits of vegetables in a flavourful broth. The chicken is shredded/torn and very tender. #26. Beef Thenthuk($14): this soup hits the spot and is so comforting on a chilly day like today. I love the thick, chewy hand pulled pasta which reminds me of the Xi'an biang biang noodles. So, in response to Jonny M., I'm sorry that you were disappointed, but these noodles are not like Chinese la mian! #27. Beef Mokthuk($16): what can we say? This soup is another winner! There are plenty of beef dumplings in this bowl for three to share!
