    Marshmallow Milkshake
    Jaden B.

I mean I know this is from a while ago but I went with my husband and child to peters drive in for the first time today. Well it was my first time but my husband used to go there regularly because he worked in the area. He got a blueberry milkshake and I got the marshmallow one. He offered me some of his milkshake to try and when I offered him some of Mine to try he said no because he didn't want any because he said he didn't want to get sick ! I said, what do you mean? Turns out he told me to read an article and we researched it and in 2005 people got sick from drinking the marshmallow milkshakes! It was specifically the marshmallow milkshakes because people got E. coli from drinking them because a worker had E. coli . I know that it was a while ago so that's why I am not faulting the place for it but it still scared me!

I try to get a milkshake at Peters' Drive-In in Calgary much as possible (although I am a bit lactose intolerant), but their other items are just alright...so 8.8/10

    Delicious burger !

Stopped at Peters Drive in last week for lunch . Lineups were not bad on weekdays but I'm sure weekends would be crazy ! My fav are the single burgers which is 1.5 burger patty and when they are made fresh , and you can eat them in the nearby park or their lot , they are delicious! We also got a small fry which is good enuf for two of us to share . And a share to share - our fav is maple coconut which tastes like a praline shake . Our service was great with fresh hot food to enjoy on a nice fall sunny day together . Will come back again to enjoy !

We came across this place by mistake and saw how busy they were, so decided to give it a try. Their drive-thru experience is very quick and easy despite the lines. We got a strawberry-chocolate milkshake, which tasted delicious! This option wasn't even on the menu but seems like the flavour combos are flexible. The size was massive.. we didn't know there were different sizes so I assume they gave the bigger one. I can't speak to their food yet so will have to revisit one day!

Was advised to check out this place on a suggestion from a friend and my sister-in-law Went for some dessert as I was told to try the milkshake The milkshake options are cool as you can combine at least three different flavours I went with just a vanilla Oreo milkshake My wife went with a vanilla dipped cone A very thick milkshake but very tasty Love the tradition of the 50's/60's diner and how they have kept that Love the lil fun facts that I saw on the restaurant They offer hamburgers/fries etc Traditional diner drive-in food Very very busy place but I can honestly see why Drive thru is fairly busy so you have to wait so fair warning Definitely recommend this spot in Calgary

You can tell that this place is usually busy and pretty packed. We went at an odd hour straight from the airport and they were fairly busy. They have a lot of staff and it's pretty efficient. They have two drive-through on both sides of the building and two order and pick up windows in the front. There's not much covered space. Only three tables directly in front of the ordering window. The rest of the dining tables are outdoors surrounding the parking lot. Most are under shaded trees. It's more of a take away type of fast food. They have a special sauce they use here called Pete's sauce, which is a combination of mayonnaise, mustard, barbecue sauce, relish, and diced onions. You can add free, extras, like tomato, lettuce, banana, peppers, Pete sauce, but the only thing they will put on the side for you is mustard and ketchup. They have a lot of different milkshake flavors. Every day they have a daily milkshake flavor for 80 cents off. If you eat the hamburgers plain to me, it's nothing special but if you add all the additional toppings, it taste much better. Their poutine was simple but pretty good. most poutines I have had are usually very salty. It was just simple, french fries dressed in brown gravy and white melted cheese on top. The onion rings come with a pretty big serving and we're pretty good. The milkshakes were good, but nothing extra special. Make sure if you order the hotdog that you add condiments to it. My daughter doesn't like sauce so she got it plain. Therefore it was not good at all. And definitely not worth the price. Quiktrip gas station hotdogs are much better. Overall pretty decent hamburger joint.

I was really excited to try Peter's Drive-In on our trip to Calgary. We came on Wednesday around 12 and they were very busy. You have the option of ordering by the drive-through or through a window at the front. We ordered at the front window. There's a separate order to pick up your order once its ready. Make sure to watch the window as they display your order number when it's ready for pickup! There's a few tables to eat and also ample parking if you prefer to eat in your car. I ordered the regular burger. We also got onion rings and an Oreo milkshake to share. The milkshake was thick and tasted very good. It was definitely a good idea that we decided to share it. The onion rings were also great and not too greasy. Burger was tasty and Peter's sauce was delicious. Definitely a great spot to check out and I'll for sure come back next time I'm in Calgary!

Peters' Drive-In is a landmark of Calgary. Who hasn't heard of the icon Peters' Drive-In here! This place has been on my to try list for years and I finally got a chance to try it. The name Drive-In is no joke. It is a real Drive-ln like the old days. Luckily there are two picnic tables outside for eating. The other option is to eat inside the car or take it to go. So I ordered: - Single Burger (came with ralish, Peters' sauce, mustard and onions) - Blueberry milkshake - Onion rings. There wasn't much flavor in the onion rings. It was fresh and the outer layer had a nice crunch. The blueberry milkshake was delicious. I do like the fact that they have over 4000 flavors. You can mix and match up to 3 flavors. The burger was ok. It was very mediocre. This is definitely a fast food place. I don't think I will come back for their burger or onion rings. Yes for their milkshake. Note: Do expect this place to have long line up all time.

Wow. Big portions! Very good value for the price! The milkshakes are awesome! Order any three flavours and get your tastebuds treated. As a quick note, there are 2 drive-through lines. Most people stick to the right side of the building and wait longer than they have to. There's also a walk-up at the front. Burgers were moist and perfectly done with all the toppings you want. The poutine is definitely something you want to share. Not official cheese curds, but the gravy is great, and the shoestring fries are nice and crispy.

    Milkshakes run!

Good food, but it's not the same as it use to be 25 yrs ago. They need to put a freeze on pricing!

Dim Sum After Landing -- A Very Sad Story…read more We came straight from the airport to this Chinese restaurant because the Google reviews looked amazing. My boyfriend picked it, and honestly, walking in, the place looked clean enough. Service was fine too. So far, hope was alive. Then the food arrived. The BBQ Pork Rice Crepe was very average. The BBQ pork was loose and messy, the sauce leaned too sweet, and the rice noodle wrapper was so soft it basically gave up the moment my chopsticks touched it. The green vegetable on the side had no flavor at all. 2/5 The Steamed BBQ Pork Buns were a true disappointment. There was barely any BBQ pork inside, and the bun itself looked fluffy but somehow became super sticky in the mouth. Even my boyfriend, who is usually the least picky human alive, took two bites and pushed the bun skin aside. His review: "This is really bad." 1/5 The Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings tasted exactly like frozen supermarket dumplings. The $2.99 bag kind. And somehow they were not even crispy. Tragic. 1/5 The Har Gow and Steamed Spareribs were also forgettable. No personality, no flavor, no joy. But the most depressing dish was the Chicken Clay Pot Rice. I saw vegetables. I saw mushrooms. I saw chicken. I saw three sad slices of Chinese sausage. What I did not see was flavor. Not even salt showed up to work today. It honestly made me wonder: did the head chef call in sick? Or was the chef just having a very bad day and decided to cook food that matched the mood? Overall: 1/5 A deeply disappointing meal. By the end, I was seriously questioning whether the Google reviews were written by real customers or hired by the restaurant's emotional support team. Absolutely terrible.

At first I thought it was maybe a burnt piece of bread... nope. It was a literal piece of eggshell in the egg. Nothing wakes you up faster in the morning than almost cracking your tooth on breakfast. It's honestly the bare minimum to make sure there isn't shell in an egg sandwich. This isn't some complicated custom order. It's egg and cheese. Finding eggshell in it just shows zero attention to quality control. Not only did it completely ruin the meal, but it also made me question how carefully the rest of the food is handled. I shouldn't have to inspect my sandwich before eating it. Really disappointed. Breakfast shouldn't feel like a hazard.
