The wood that was delivered was absolutely warped (most was warped 0.75" - 1.5" in a single board), knotty and some pieces were even split. The wood was unloaded and the painter proactively jumped on it and began staining it. When the finish carpenter arrived the next day, he quickly pointed out the defects, and we immediately called North Rome Lumber. Brandon was quick to point out that if we had problems with the wood, we should have not accepted delivery and that once we did, he was no longer responsible. Zero remorse, horrible customer service, and completely unwilling to help find a solution. North Rome did nothing at all to rectify the situation and blamed us for accepting it, even though they obviously did not QC it before it was shipped. To avoid trashing thousands of dollars in lumber, we altered our design to shrink the size of the beams being built and invested several days in labor to trim down the lumber to be straight and splice/join pieces to remove the knots and splits. Now, several months later we needed a few more pieces of baseboard (custom profile) to finish out one last room of the project and Brandon is refusing to sell us the baseboard. In fact, he instructed the salesperson to not even call us back. Be advised that while North Rome Lumber has been around Tampa for decades, the newer ownership is not honoring its previous reputation and cannot be trusted to do the right thing when it matters.

I could've never imagined that they would do this terrible of a job. I wish I could give -0 stars! This moving company is truly awful. They damaged over 39 items of my antiques, furniture, pictures etc and even dropped/broke tvs. Put nails in my dresser when attaching the mirror, didn't put beds together correctly. They ruined items that are irreplaceable! I paid them thousands to ruin my stuff and they could care less. They didn't wrap anything at all and when they saw the amount of stuff they said normally it's a 3 day job. Well I told the person I spoke with on the phone exactly how much stuff it was and he said it could be done in 1 day. So I guess they didn't feel like wrapping anything at all including pictures, mirrors tvs. All the paint transferred onto everything from other items. They also put lawn furniture on top of other furniture and it now has water stains. I have never seen a more lazy group of men in my life. Devin Alex and carlan ruined so much of my stuff and antiques. They truly should all be fired. This company should be ashamed of themselves as when I called they said it was all old damage and it wasn't from them and the man was very rude. He Kept saying it was all damage and I said how could it all be damaged overnight when they moved it ! I had to fight with them to get 1/4 of what I paid and it won't even cover 1/4 of fixing all my stuff! Truly horrible! How dare they gaslight me after ruining all my belongings and charging me thousands for it! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! Save your $ and your belongings!

I had worked with them before for kitchen cabinets and countertops and was satisfied with their work. They gave us a great price for the bathroom cabinets and countertops, so I purchased and scheduled a date for measurements for the installation. Their installers came out to measure, but did not notify us that a couple electrical outlets needed to be moved up a couple inches to allow the backsplash to be installed. When the installers arrived a week or so later, the last backsplash could not be installed due to the fact that the electrical outlets were in the way. So I hired an electrician who came out the following week and moved the outlets - that was early September 2022. Here it is today, January 11, 2023 - more than 4 months after initial installation, and Cabinet and Stone still has not finished the installation I paid for. After several calls, texts and emails - and several promises from them that someone would come to finish the job, they still have not sent anyone to finish. I finally had to hire someone else to finish the job that Cabinet and Stone International apparently refused to complete.

They arrived promptly just before 8:00 AM and got right to work. Tyler, our moving lead, and the three movers with him were incredibly professional, hardworking, and efficient. They never wasted a minute and worked tirelessly throughout the entire move. What impressed us most was how carefully they handled our belongings. Every item was properly wrapped, packed, and protected to ensure nothing was damaged. They took the time to disassemble and reassemble our furniture and placed everything exactly where we wanted it in our new home. Moving can be stressful, but this team made the process seamless. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to customer service were second to none. Tyler and his crew truly went above and beyond, and we couldn't be more grateful for their hard work. I rarely write reviews on anything not food related, but this crew absolutely earned their rating. Thank you for making our move such a positive experience. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and hardworking moving company!

On the day of the move, I didn't see anybody after half an hour that they were supposed to be here. I called the owner and basically he was trying to figure out the appointment, then admitted that there was a mistake and they were going to send the crew. We waited for a couple of hours and didn't get a call or respond. When I called again, he said he could send someone later afternoon or give me a discount if I want to reschedule for a day after. Thankfully I wasn't time-rushed so I pushed back. What really bothered me was that the owner gave me an excuse after all this saying that his brother tried to give me a call the day before and it went to the voicemail; when I actually received no phone calls the day before whatsoever. I would have been okay with a simple apology and discount that was offered but that excuse totally gave it away. The next day, the movers came and they were professional and did a great job. They were quick, friendly, and very courteous.
