I just had a phone call with them to schedule an appointment for a kitchen remodel estimate. The scheduler insisted on getting my spouse's name **just to make the appointment** even after I respectfully declined to offer it, as this is my project, which I am paying for and managing. This is NOT 1960, Patete. I felt like I did when I went to buy a car and the salesperson spoke to my husband like I wasn't even there, even though I was the one paying for my own car. If you don't care for an aspect of there install they will go out of there way to make sure it's correct and the way you want it to look. Do not use this company. My sister spent $8,000 to remodel a shower that had a black mold issue. They guaranteed the issue was resolved. They have been back twice because of recurring black mold and just cleaned and recaulked it without getting to the source of the mold behind the shower wall. Also, the never replaced the tub with the original one she ordered. Horrible company. read more

I generally write a review only when something is wrong. This time I can only praise Patete for their after the sale service. Our remodeled bathroom shower faucet started to drip after nearly five years. We called Patete and they sent one of their expert technicians to correct the drip. He not only repaired the faucet, but also repaired some tub caulking that he noticed was defective. This is truly exceptional service and justifies the cost for this remodel job. Horrible! I just saw the TV commercial of the kid Barry and the Old Man boasting their customer service, products and expert workmanship. I'm still waiting for a return phone call from a conversation I had with the old man back in October 2019. He had to call me cause the son threatened to sue me if a posted a bad review. In addition, the kid told me he was recording my phone conversation and would not listen to a word I had to say, he just talked over me. Needless to say I hung up on him. I phoned back saying to have anyone but him return my call. The old man tried to do damage control, but dropped the ball on servicing my problem. POOR Customer service and they use substandard materials. Would never recommend them to anyone," read more

They are doing work at my neighbors. Grabbed the phone number thinking I would use them too. But after being woken up at 7am to loud banging on my walls, and asking them to start at a slightly later hour, and having them continue to start at 7 despite talking with my neighbor, and the rudeness of the contractor that I talked to, I will search elsewhere for my contractor needs. read more

Doing a kitchen remodel. Went to showroom to view and speak to designers. What a disappointment. No customer service what so ever. Had to seek out someone to help me and was told just to look, no direction, no explanation of materials. When I finished looking I was told to fill out an info sheet. An older women reviewed who explained she is the kitchen designer. She proceeded to review my info and said " no spouse, can you afford a remodel". Needless to say I was shocked but chalked it up to ignorance. I did set up appointment to have them measure. However after speaking with my contractors and his feedbacks and others dealing with This company. I realized there are comparable companies that actually want to work with people. Cancelled my measuring appointment and happy I don't have to deal with such narrow minded people. read more

Visited the showroom and went through the required process (home visit / session with designer / final presentation) required in order to get a quote. Final quote was 29K plus for a master bath with nothing high end and I was required to engage plumber on my own which wasn't included in quote. Told I had to engage plumber because I have hot water heat in my 1963 Modern home. Price was double what I wanted to invest and left me with the responsibility for the plumber (this is a bathroom???). Very disappointed for a company which advertises "We do it all" and "We're really not that expensive". I was really hoping they were going to show me something that I wanted but maybe could not afford - Not the case at all. read more

I would not recommend this company due to their bad customer communication. We are new to the business and they tried to impose their service to us using threatening sentence, saying if we don't choose one of their products, they wouldn't do the project. The sales rep was extremely aggressive and gave no time or space for me to further communicate. Essentially, renovation is a customer-oriented business. Communication is very important for both sides to accommodate each other and know what kind of business is available to do together. Scolding and threatening the customer is definitely unacceptable! I won't take my future business to a company which gave me such a repulsive experience and I won't recommend anyone to do so. read more

We are building a house and dropped in to begin our search for a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. I couldn't have felt less welcome. The floor staff were cold and unhelpful, and told us that the showroom was closing an hour earlier than the posted time. We will not return. read more

Met with Steve & Barry, they were very professional and respectful. They explained the process and everything went as planned.

I stopped into Patete to see what they had and very much liked one of their kitchens on display. Brought my husband in to see it and he liked it as well. I made an appointment to meet (with one of the owners) to discuss the possibilities. The owner asked me if I had the architects prints with me (which I did not bring) and immediately was told "I can't help you." I explained that it was new construction and really nothing to see except two blank walls of which I had the measurements. I also had the dimensions of my appliances and explained which kitchen was of interest to me. Again..."I can't help you." At no time did he give me any options such as...can you go and get the prints....would you like to reschedule...we can have a discussion about your kitchen plans now and you can leave the print off later-NOTHING! I have a very strong feeling that if my husband had accompanied me, my treatment would have been much different. I believe that he did not think that I was a serious customer. It was highly insulting. I actually am in need of 2 kitchens and SOMEONE will be doing them...but NOT Patete. Mr Patete-I word of advice-Customer Service is EVERYTHING. Nearly two years ago, we tried Patete and though the salesman was extremely nice (gave HIM only an A on Angie's List) nothing else was. They didn't just refuse to do stainless steel countertops that I had my heart set on after MUCH research, they tried telling me I didn't want stainless at all. I see they responded to my review on Angie's List saying how bad stainless is and I can't seem to respond there. I LOVE MY STAINLESS STEEL COUNTERTOPS! Patete says they don't hold up-THEY DO, if done right and George J. Bush Kitchen Center did them right. (Come on, seriously STAINLESS is what restaurants use!) Patete says they scratch-yep and will form a great patina although scratching isn't an issue because of the design George J. Bush Kitchen put into them. Patete questions George J. Bush Kitchen for hiring a contractor...Well, duh THEY had never done a stainless and it was their desire to SATISFY the customer, not just say no & try to change the customer's mind, so they contracted an EXPERT who does commercial stainless steel. Working together, George Bush Kitchens gave me the EXACT kitchen I wanted. I've even spilled my red wine on the counters, and it wipes right up. Ridiculously easy to keep clean, VERY sanitary, and simply gorgeous. The perfect countertop for someone like me who loves to cook and not worry about the mess. If Patete doesn't want bothered with something outside their area of experience, I think they should say so from the beginning and not try to change people's minds as though they don't know what they want... Patete claims on Angie's List that I could have received an estimate broken down and not just one figure. Funny, but I asked for that and was told no. With George J. Bush Kitchen, the estimate was clearly broken down to the last handle. We KNEW exactly what was what. I'm so glad George Bush Kitchens was willing to go outside their comfort level to give me the kitchen of my dreams. :) read more

We just had our bathroom remodeled by Patete Kitchen And Bath. Without a doubt this has been the best experience we ever had concerning work done in our home. From the very beginning the whole process was professional and complete. When we had questions...they were answered. Their installers were polite, neat, and cleaned up at the end of each work day. Now that the job is complete....I cannot believe how they transformed our old, ugly 1960s bathroom into a modern up to date master piece. A job well done and MANY THANKS! read more

We were in the process of having one of our bathrooms remodeled and thought we would go to Patete to see what they had available. This was on a Saturday at the beginning of May 2014. We were shown around by a young lady and then asked to fill out a form so that "Kevin" would be able to call us at the "beginning of the week" to set up a consult at our home. The next week came and went , so 10 days after our visit, I called their comany and asked the young lady who answered the phone how long it usually took to have a call returned to us to set up a consult. She said within 2-3 days. I then told her how rude I thought they were since it was 10 days since we were in their store. She stumbled and I hung up! We had another company complete our work and everything was done this past Thursday! It is gorgeous and was done by a friendly company! Their commercials make the company seem friendly with Dad and Son holding coffee cups and smiling, but clearly they are not a welcoming company! read more
