However, this is not the case at the Home Depot in Brownwood. This store is pretty much the same as most Home Depot's, as far as what they offer for sale, but what makes it different is the high quality of the people they have working there. Most days, when I walk into this store, I rarely make it more than 60ft inside before someone is asking if they can help me find something. The employees here seem to be happy, have friendly personalities and genuinely care about helping the customers. No matter where you are in the store, you will find someone nearby that is ready, willing and able to help you solve whatever home improvement issue that you may have. Whenever I need parts or products for around my home or I need something for my gardening/landscaping, I always stop by the Home Depot first.

I purchased a new refrigerator. There is a 48-hour window that if something is wrong with the…read morerefrigerator to call the store. The company delivering it reversed the doors. Basically, they damaged it when doing that. The longer it sat the more the door sagged. It was after 48 hours that we noticed it getting worse. I called 5 days after it was delivered. They refuse to correct the problem. We should have gone to Southwest appliance. We will in the future and NEVER buy another appliance from Home Depot.

We went back and spoke to a girl, and she tried to get me to apply for a Sears credit card, I told her I want to lease the machines, huge signs all over the store "No credit required" but yet I didn't qualify, Huh? Went across the street and bought a nicer set from Aaron's, with free set up and delivery.

She ROCKS and this place is AWESOME!…read more Then I'm going to say...as you know...there aren't many places in the area to go to Lease-to-own furniture and appliances...we went to another place first and while the first gentleman that helped us was nice and knowledgeable...we decided to shop around first. Then we returned to that place, we were 'denied' when the whole place is covered with signs saying 'no credit needed' and 'no one turned down'. Ya, OK, NOT! (we did not want to open a credit card...had nothing to do with our credit...that was the whole point of looking around at places that allowed us to lease-to-own...we didn't want another credit card and I didn't want to buy a used set!) Don't get fooled! Also...read the small print on the 'no credit needed' signs...AND the small print on the appliances...they get you by charging you extra for the hardware needed to hook the machines up AND they charge you for delivery and set up!! Aarons DOES NOT do this! Another plus for choosing Aarons instead! Anyway...that being said...we went to Aarons and spoke with Marlaina...she knew her stuff!! She was helpful and knowledgeable and the whole experience was quick and easy! We were on a time crunch and she respected that and got us set up with the Washer and Dryer of my dreams (the price was a good deal less than the other place AND it was a far better set than that other place in the mall)...anyway, she had us all set up within the time we had...AND had it delivered to us within hours!! (The gentleman that delivered the HUGE washer and dryer...up the stairs by himself I might add! was also AWESOME!) They were connected and running and we were doing a load of laundry within hours of purchase!! (no extra fee's here!) No problems...no fake gimmicks...just straight up business as advertised! Pay it off within the given time limit and you pay same as cash! If you can't...thats ok too...pay on it as you go...you can't beat it! We got exactly what we wanted and it was a deal we couldn't pass up!! (We'll be going there for the living room set of my dreams soon...its that easy!) Oh and be sure to sign up for the Aaron's Club...that too is worth every penny! Go see Marlaina and these wonderful people here...they are the BEST around!
